    You answered my question. Our allergies are horrible. Thank you so much.

      It can, but if you want it to do it more effectively, you’ll need to buy the replacement filter for it that is specifically designed for capturing smoke. You can purchase it separately. Out of the box it’ll capture cooking smoke but not sure specifically about cigarette smoke.

    How’s the levoit 600s holding up after 1 year? I’m thinking of buying one

    Just got one and plan to get another. Let me know if you have any updates please!

      So the only big update I have is that it does help with allergies, but it definitely doesn’t completely alleviate symptoms for me. I do still like it, though. Whenever we cook it immediately recognizes this and starts cleaning the air to get back to a neutral smell.

    Does this work for mold? I’ve seen no claims that it does from the company like on other air purifiers its usually on there box instruction manual or on description on web sites but I’ve not seen Levoit claimed it works for mold

      HEPA filters remove mold spores, so yes

    Is the filter last 6 months or 12 months?

    • @Diamondviper911
      @Diamondviper911  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      6 months! The unit will tell you when it’s time to replace the filter, but it will continue to run even if it needs a replacement. I’m overdue by a few months. The filters aren’t cheap. :(

      @@Diamondviper911 yikes... I'm thinking to use 1 filter per year. Did you vacuum the filter every month tho?

      No, I haven’t vacuumed it, but you absolutely could. That would probably extend the filter another 6 months if you did that regularly.
