Key takeaways: 1) Maurice is likely to be the best siege general due to his versatility 2) Gunter #1, Maurice #2 as main attack general 3) Maurice is #1 as assistant attack general 4) Maurice is #1 as siege assistant wall general 5) Maurice is #1 as siege Main or assistant for reinforcements If you plan to be an all-rounded siege-focused keep, instead of having 5-7 different siege generals for a variety of scenarios, you can simply have 2 copies of Maurice. 1x Ascended and 1x non-ascention as assistant. That is big!
I'm just starting to seriously look at my siege march. Even after looking at Maurice I think I'm still looking at Gunther/ Melisande and hoping I eventually get a lot more copies of Gunther. One of the things I really like about Gunther/ Melisande is their synergy in covenants. Since each is in the other's, improving either one helps both covenants.
Gunther and Melisande are definitely a great combo 💪 Only problem is Melisande is so difficult to get 😅 (not taking into account how difficult it is to ascend Gunther 😅😂)
Maurice looks great, but Mu Guying is better, which should be the one where a direct comparison is worth it. Mu is a better assistant, it starts there. And Mu Guying has a 50% attack buff with 4th spec for archers. Now this puts her next to Zachary Taylor as a Wall assistant at least! People forget this extra buff Mu brings, which probably makes her better than Leo III.
I think all generals with "leading the army" except Edward are not compatible with Maurice. Even though he can't have an attack skill book, the fact that he is very flexible, makes me want to change on to him. I am waiting for a general like this.
I can’t get enough copies of Maurice to ascend him so my plan is to use him as assistant with Teach. Not the strongest siege attack combo but great for rein.
makes me think this guy would be the best siege general as a fully ascended main wall general. siege attack in that scenario no problem as all your troops would benefit from anything however i am curently using william marshall as I am sure many are, would like to see a comparison of them fully ascended for wall. He must be alot better. I got 16 copies of brock, ground wall general but never fully ascended and made the switch, just using him as an assistant reinforcement general for alliance members. curious indeed, i've wanted to upgrade marshall for awhile now
I got him and discoverd he cant take the attack skill book after, but I think Im comftarble, I know his attack is ok, and he is all roand buffs, so I know if Ill ever want to do a change or use him however I want I wont need to get another siege general
Unfortunately, there are no good completely F2P siege generals. The best completely F2P option is Ulysses Grant in the Tavern. Mathias is another option. The best option would be to pick up a "Freemiun" general like Petronas or to get a premium siege general
For siege, yeah, Teach is slightly better iirc 👌 The only issue, which is the same with Maurice, is that Teach only buffs siege. No buffs for other troop types
Cant wait until 2 weeks from now for the next Siege General again 😂
IKR 😂😂
@@RedEvony For some reason, I cannot post my own comments on your TH-cam videos....
Well here we are about 2 weeks later and a new siege general 😂@@RedEvony

Maurice v. Takenaka Shigeharu as Wall Assistant, would be a great comparison
I have five copies of Maurice and not a single Gunther, So Maurice .
Then in that case, you are good 😊👍
Aka , you should do a video about defending portals , building even a temples and what is the best march with a good generals for this.
Thanks ❤
No march can be killed. you just have to be active and online during any battle for recall/re-send counter march
gunther takes the attack skillbook. sexy saxe cannot be the assistant in that scenario 😪
Sexy Saxe 😂😂
Thanks for the share Aka008
As always bro 😁👍
another great video, sharing information.
Theodosius?

Help AKA !!! What blazons are best for in-city wall defence ?? I am wising brock with both mounted and ground troops ........
I'm f2p and I've managed to obtain Maurice and John Hyundai. But I notice that he can't take the attack book. So isn't he losing out on attack?

That's fair enough. He is a decent general 😇
what siege generals are suitable for F2p players?

Teach better than Leo at wall as assistant..many have no idea about it
For siege, yeah, Teach is slightly better iirc 👌
The only issue, which is the same with Maurice, is that Teach only buffs siege. No buffs for other troop types
