That was very nice Becky! I think when you first rinse the onions with cold water, you may not be tearing up. Wonderfull to see how you made this Salsa! I usually take the full heart out of the tomatoes, before I boil them and than take the skin off. Thanks for this video! May God bless you and the Family!
Thanks for sharing. It made me hungry for chips and salsa so I had to.get them and.have a snack. I imagine my store bought salsa couldn't come close to your homemade. Thanks Becky.
Wow beautful we waste alot of food here in Africa and when drought come we suffer i have learned some ideas that will help me presserve food for the next season thanks Becky and warmest greetings to Gerold from Kenya East Africa Rift Valley Kapsabet.
I really wished to teach African families how to preserve their food that spoiled just because they don’t have a freezer or electricity…canning was a challenge if you didn’t have a cool basement or dark cool place to store the jars!!! They’d unseal when dry hot season came around.. but I did teach one lady how to make banana bread with all her ripe bananas, but she couldn’t freeze the loaves !! Thanks for caring!
@@GeroldandBeckyMiller1965 am looking forward to see you on your next visit so that we can visit villages and teach them this very important practice thank you.
Becky I just got around today to watching your video and I loved it I am glad you explained that Thanksgiving is an American holiday and it does have a spiritual component to it it's not just about sitting around and eating , I wish I was there when the jalapenos came out of the oven, have you ever tried black bean and corn salsa that's delicious, I have found that when I get onions from Friends who grow them they usually burn my eyes but with the ones that come from the supermarket not so much, I greatly admire anyone who cans,I usually do small batches that can be refeigerated, as usual great narration I loved how interwoved what happened during the process, also great editing Thank you for including us in your salsa making
I use to can tomatoes and make all types of pickles. I cannot remember making salsa. Now, I do not can very much at all. Interesting way that you made the salsa. I would bet your husband and your sons like the salsa a little bit spicy/ hot. 😊
