It’s exciting and joyful to see whenever there’s a chance for Valmiki to showcase his knowledge of botany and geography. He truly describes it in such a poetic way, much like a typical nerd we see in modern times.

i never could digest why ram sent sita to vanvas again in uttara kanda i used to think if ram loved sita so much more than ayodhya and put so much effort to bring back sita from ravan then why let her go just because of one man accused her... now i think about it ram was not a emporor during vanvas and when he got back to being an emporor his raj dharm was more than pati dharm.
Can’t believe that he would ask Sita to go to forest in Uttara khand after what he has expressed here his love for Sita.. now I really feel Uttarakhand is an addition in some later point in time by someone else
