theres no better feeling than having your entire 40 man raid group melt adds with sappers/crystal charges. thats how i used to kill sulfuron adds within a global so they dont cast
The best is when you've been in a shitter guild who 3-phased viscidus (or didn't kill at all some weeks), and then you find people who are at least 30 engineers in raid, and you easily kill all the blobs on the 1st shatter.
Hey dwarf lord… am a newish player to wow and I want to learn how to properly tank. been loving your videos it has helped me a lot. was wondering if you can make a video on the add-ons that you have and/or rotation, as far as a single target or aoe. Thanks a lot.
@@dwarflord I ask this question earlier to a SoD CC I follow. I'll ask here as well. "You do Classic game mechanics deep dives? I could use a refresher on Defense and all it's mechanics in relation to the player classes. That includes: Armor, Avoidance, Defense, Block Chance, Block Value, Parry Chance and Dodge Chance... which classes have access to what mechanics and the value of Defense to them."
Stupid question but I forgot the answer and can't find a definitive answer via searching but does anyone know if being in def stance when using stuff like a sapper or grenade etc will the explosion dmg benefit from def stance bonus threat. I'm pretty sure the defensive stance threat bonus is only attacks that come specifically from the Warrior right?
I like your videos and this is useful info, the title is extremely misleading. This does not make engineering "mandatory" for a tank. Pulling mobs with dynamite, and having a backup for losing threat (in rare instances) isn't enough to call this mandatory. Relating back to your video against gold farming and the problem being the player base mentality of "mid maxing". Titles like what you have are whats causing this. TL;DR: Unless engineering provides items with stats your tank absolutely needs to survive a dungeon, it is not mandatory.
Titles make people click the video, The first words that come out of my mouth are that it is not mandatory. I then provide some different ways to do what engineering does. I am happy you like my videos :)
Mandatory for those who take the game seriously and want to parse, if you don’t give a shit about that then it doesn’t matter . . I can’t think of a single main tank I’ve had in all of classic that didnt have engi . .
@@imfromtheinternett6155 I agree with it being mandatory if you want to parse but parsing isn't mandatory to beat end game raids. It's just to show how efficient you can beat it while also holding info on how to improve
Yep Crater Crystals make for great explosives. My engineer keeps a stack or two in play.

Hey Dwarflord, do you have any advice for newer upcoming warrior tank that needs help with keybindings.

im not 100% sure but I think it does. read the tooltip, it increases threat. and not of attacks. also for battle shout and stuff

Engineering is mandatory for sweaties / speedrunners
Many mobs are immune to crystal charge, sadly :(
