Cheers mate 😊 I wouldn’t say there’s a great amount of difference in terms of fit - but last seasons material did feel thinner, so hangs off you a little looser if that makes sense? The material is less silky this year I think partly because of the detailing, it feels thicker so therefore might feel tighter…

I’m a year older than you so this brought back a lot of memories of the kits I had growing up. My parents didn’t really like spending money on football shirts for me so I have an irrational hatred for the Champions League kit as I had just convinced my parents to buy me the regular home shirt with my name and ten on the back and when I saw the European kit I thought they’d actually changed early. My favourite is between 94-96 or the 98-00 zip shirt.
Our poor parents back in the day - I know they were like £30-£40 back then but in todays money that’s probably about the same as what we pay now - EXPENSIVE! Which is why I’m stubborn & not getting “player versions” which are like an extra 20-30 quid 🙈 great choices mate, the 94-96 is clean & we all love that treble winning zip shirt too 👏🏽

That said I’m a Large in both - I’m 6 foot exactly about 14 & a half - 15 stone depending on how well I’ve eaten that day 😁👍🏾

They’re generally a little more fitted, but I would buy large in both authentic & replica 😊
