Karantez Vro (by Anjela Duval, c 1970) In a corner of my heart there’s a scar That I have borne since I was young For, alas, the one I cared for Didn’t love what I loved He only loved cities Distant countries, deep seas And I only loved the fields The fair fields of my Brittany Forced to choose between two affections Love for a Country, love for a man I’ve given my life to my nation And let go of the one I loved I never saw him again later Heard nothing of his life’s course The scar in my heart stays there For he didn’t love what I love. Every man must follow his Destiny In this World that’s the law My heart’s crushed most certainly But he didn’t love what I love For him riches, honors For me disdain and poverty But I’d not exchange for treasures My Country, my Language and my Liberty.
In 'Akallabeth' you can feel all the agony the Númenóreans (not the ones corrupted by Sauron) felt while seeing their island and civilization being destroyed.
Woow! How come I have discovered it so late! Perfect music for night work and studying. I can visualise the events from the book easily, even as a film. Love it!
hello Stan! An excellent soundtrack. I’d like to get in touch with you if possible regarding the soundtrack. It’s in regards to a game modification called Wainriders and the usage of some tracks in your fantastic albums. I left you an email as well and I hope it hasn’t gotten lost in the junk mail. Happy Easter!
The music is splendid! This brought me back a question that's been hitting my head for the last months. If you ever watched Raya and the last dragon, in your opinion, what would happen if the Dúnedain arrived at Kumandra instead of middle-earth?
They were so overwhelming in might, craftsmanship and of the mind that their mere presence invoked peace for those that dared to make them resort to other means then peace, death surely was come. I say this because the very sight of them made me think of when not even the armies of Sauron dared to make them resort to bloodshed for it only meant they'd all die, while not one numenorean would perish. It makes sense that only Eru himself be the one to challenge their might for he is the One. Sure the valar had the destructive power to win but not before much blood of the Eldar would be spilt and not before Valinor would be dirtied with violence. They were such a threat that the valar gave the Elves the order to completely retreat to Valinor when the numenoreans had come for their undying land. The numenoreans are my favourite. I often think of what humanity could be, and what we should of been.
They are my favorite as well. For me it symbolizes what humans could achieve if we cultivate virtue as a collective and what might happen when virtue is abandoned
Why is the title "Overture - The Great and Powerful Island of Númenor" almost entirely identicle to Imag'in Studios overhaul of Oblivion's symphony. Like, give it a listen, it's practically the same soundtrack except for one sounding slightly more like Oblivion than this one.

Karantez Vro (by Anjela Duval, c 1970)
In a corner of my heart there’s a scar
That I have borne since I was young

Verdade!
Amazing! I felt in Númenor!!
I really hope that you will publish other Tolkien related works of the author. Like the "Symphony for Gondolin"

Beautiful original composition, mood and performance my friend...
Wonderful music, (along with Part 1). Brought me, wistfully, back to Middle Earth. "Song for Atalante" (at 31:51 mark) left me teary-eyed!

What game is that? Would love to hear this on a Middle Earth game!
@@TBPetitP It's a modification for an existing strategy game called Rome: Total War.
Now you just need an EP titled "A New Shadow" ^w^
Beautiful as always Stan! It's as good as part 1. Is there anywhere I can buy the CDs for the two soundtracks?
Thank you ! Because of the rights about the Tolkien's works, I can't make money with this work. That's why I can just present my work on TH-cam.

Hate and Darkness is so deliciously evil i love it :'D
Really cool 👍
