Im not sure why, but this reminds me of something id see in the early 2000s at this odd, modern 90s style home i used to go to with my mom to help housesit while the owner was gone. An absolutely unforgettable experience. Random things are so memorable, like the phone she had, normal phone from that time with the curly cord connecting the speaker and microphone handheld piece. The phone was normal exept for the fact that the plastic was completely clear and you could see all the circut bords and layers to the buttons. It was so odd. She also had many object and art pieces around her house that remind me of this. Especially the pottery shards, there were always such fun and bright colors like these in the art pieces. It looked so cool against the white walls, which stretched upwards from the kitchen to the living room. Truly some cool architecture. She also had these massive masks from africa i believe, they hung in the livong room above the couch, carved and painted. The whole place felt completely unreal as a child and it felt almost whimsical, if nothing else extremely artsy and abstract. Thanks for reminding me of such unique and fond memories with your wonderful art. I hope to visit there one last time if i could. This world has been gettin me down and ive forgotten how to appreciate the strong emotions things like this or that house seem to bring. I guess just art or wondeful, unique scenery that just gives off other-worldly vibes too.

Thank you kindly! Your comment itself stirs memories of similar experiences from the past which I know play into the reasons for making these things today. It's about responding to feelings and sensations without the need to explain them. Of course, I'm doing this entirely for myself so if they resonate with anyone else, that's a bonus!

I think my favorite part is the Pottery Shards :]

I always scan the ground for shards (and such like) when traversing field & fare and gather them for some future purpose. This piece was built partly to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary, for which the traditional gift material is apparently porcelain/china. It was only when 'presenting' it to my wife that I suddenly realised it might be taken as a representation of 'flying plates and smashed crockery' LOL!

Yeah, not sure why but I'm deeply drawn to 'objects moving in space'. Cheers!
