Yan kami mga Igorot especifically Ibaloi tribe.. according sa infos na narinig ko.. ung mga may kaya at o may antas ang nakakapagmamummify kasi mahaba ang proseso.. and the process is long. It may takes weeks to a month and may mga ceremonies yan and during ceremonies may makakatay ng mga baboy. Narinig ko lng na info.. you can correct me if I'm wrong. Especially from Kabayan..

What I know about people from mountain province really respect their culture and heritage so much but I can't believe a powerful man from mountain province was able to do this. Money perhaps? And what happen to one of the mummy whom they cut and put in the groto is really unacceptable and really disrespectful.

People of the Mt. Province do mummification, too. My father and our lola tell stories about this when we were still young. This is true with the Sagada people also.

Its not a full mummification process just like how the ibalois do centuries ago. Benguet and Mt Province Igorots had this Sangadil for our dead ancestors but not as complicated how the ibalois preserved theirs.
