For the past 5 months, I have been working on this official Short Film for Apex Legends.
A lot of talented people worked on it and a lot of hard work was done I hope you all enjoy it :)

@@Walker07620 I'm sure they paid MORE than well enough. This kinda work isn't cheap especially at this level. This is of course considering that they wouldn't just do it for free or cheap out of love for the game considering they made the BH one awhile back with absolutely no real reason other than love.

I had the same thought! It was really messing with me head. I was like "Did they get in touch with Chris Edgerly through his discord or something and did he agree to record lines as Pathfinder? But how was Respawn okay with it... how is this animation so good but not official... is this lore canon or just made up by fans!?" So happy to know that it's actually GoldenLane Studio, that is fantastic.

At the end when it shows the other legends, it looks like horizon and wattson had been crying. Even tho all their eyes look glossy, horizons and wattsons eyes have a bit of red to them. Bc of the person horizon considered a friend betrayed her and heard what she became after she left her in space and wattson heard how a relative of hers died. All of their stories are so sad :(
well not only did she betray Horizon, but she blew up her son.... which probably stung a bit more.
@@MrYac-ie8ie I dont remember it saying she blow him up? I was told he just grew old and died. But woth the statue at the end is has Newton Somer which makes me think it could be her son but my dad pointed out tht this was after she left Horizon in space so he's still a kid rn and said maybe its her husband. But then again nowhere doesnt it say tht her husband was ever woth here before her trip. So idk whos name tht is on the statue But whoever it is is relayed to horizon. But as far as ik her son had a normal life.
@@ivonnelara1698 that is a good point, the timeline is a little iffy. but given the name i think it's certainly one of the 2 and an important person in her life.
@@MrYac-ie8ie very much so yes but who is a great question being tht the only person we know tht was important to her was her son. It's just so hard to keep uo with the story when there are so many details tht could possibly be forgotten tht could help tie one thing to another. Just wish they would tell us the story all together😭😭

Horizon is pretty calm for someone who just learnt that her son blew himself up to save the Outlands
well she knows she is gonna be able to raise him as a child with time travel which all she wants is to raise him like the mom she is

Amazing production aside, I love the change from "I need to play the games to find my creator," to "I need to play the games to find my *child*," - fits Pathfinder so perfectly.

At 5:07 you can see the names of Wattsons Mum, Horizons son and Gibby's grandfather
Oh my god. Horizon will be pissed as hell when she finds out. First, Ash left her die in a blackhole (and Horizon couldn't live with her son), and now.. we discover that Ash is also a reason why Horizon's son is dead lol.

I can't only ONE PERSON created this! There are so many amazing details I honestly thought a full production studio had spent the same amount of time working on this. The lighting alone, especially with path's screen, was top notch. Wow, great work. I hope to see more from you like this.

Blisk already knows Ash. Blisk asked path about his spare parts remodel. If he asked him about it its something he doesn’t know, so i don’t think it would be Ash.
Although its possible Blisk doesn’t know at all about how Ash came to be, same as Ash
The facial animation on Blisk’s “…what?” Is so fucking good dude. Like the delivery is great, but the look on his face as he realizes what Pathfinder said is pure fucking gold

Pathfinder is such a hilarious character. Despite the serious tone this animation takes throughout it, Pathfinder is still Pathfinder. Excellent work!

Guys, I just found this beauty and I can't believe I finally found the Apex content I was looking for since the Day that game came out. This is absolutely awesome, I wonder if you're working on a bigger project than this one, like a 30-50 min movie or something (i'm probably dreaming) but wow! Revenant also has a great story to be told, I want to learn more about this character through content like this. Keep it up, you're awesome ! 🔥🔥🔥
This is one of my favourite stories from the outlands. Along with the wraith and bloodhound ones.
This is epic , the graphics and everything seem pretty realistic and some games don’t even have such good graphics I really appreciate whoever worked on this and thanks for letting me enjoy this ;)
I hope we get a similar pathfinder skin. The one from the lab.

I can't believe that they really hired a fan, it is an enormous risk if you look at it from their perspective.. It paid off, this short is astonishing, well done!

I've watched this at least ten times, it's by far my favorite apex legends "stories from the outlands" if you would consider that. Amazing animation, voice acting etc. How did you get with respawn and the cast?
