The Reason for this is because I have a family, and because of my work, and gym schedule, streaming all of The Knicks games would be impossible, so I began covering The Lakers in late 2018, because most of their games are played at 9:00PM EST, or later.

I'm glad Singletary was signed. He's a good RB, and he's not as injury prone as our former RB1.
Barkley's worst years are equivalent to Singletarys best years.

Tyrone Tracy will be a weapon

They took Phillips because of his 1.51 10 yard split, also has an 11.3 Broad Jump, 42 inch verticle. Guys that score that high, tend to do well once they get some good coaching under them. Also it hirt Cooper Beebe that he benched 225 only 20 times. That is horrid for an interior lineman, especially one with below average arm lengh, which tends to help you with bench press.
Tracy was an awesome pick. Dante Miller was a free draft pick and could be an upgrade over Eric Gray, who hasn't showed anything spectacular. Both Tracy and Miller have a history of shiftiness and play making ability. If they both do good in pre-season, I would not hesitate to move off from Eric.
Its not a matter of bust, but potential upgrade...would be good to have some speedy depth at RB like the good old days of Earth, Wind, and Fire.
Motor, Turbo, and Sweet Feet could be a nice combo.
Y'all gonna be crying about why did Schoen let Barkley go by week 4.

All that is fine and good, and of course it's better to hear good things about players in Camp than Bad, but I'll wait and see what some of these guys do in the Regular Season before I get excited.

I agree with you baddog I wanted Bebe too but we’ve drafted so many linemen in the first 3 rounds over the last few drafts I think it was actually good to pass on a linemen and try and actually develop the young linemen we have now
Baddog, don't forget about Eric Gray. His rookie year wasn't so great on special teams but he does have a year of experience in the system. I remember the praise coming out of college about his vision, quickness, moves, receiving skills and ability to finish his runs going forward. I like what I've heard about Tyrone Tracy but I ain't forgetting about Eric Gray.

He looked slow and very pedestrian to me.
Without a doubt the WR corps has a ton of potential. If you go back to Jones 2022 season he had none of Robinson, Hyatt or Nabors. As far as running the ball I hope they can get away from the idea of a "starting" back and a "backup" and move more toward a RB by committee situation. Tyron Tracy IS the most intriguing prospect behind Singletary but the others have some talent as well. Usually with young RBs you have to make sure their blitz pickup skills are up to snuff but we'll see what happens in August. Good show!

Remember Tre Hawkins had this hype during camp and he disappointed his rookie year.

It appears that last years 5th round RB isn't going to get a shot. No, he wasn't a WR turned RB in college. However, in his last years in college he ran for more than 1,300 yards. He's also a serious receiving threat out of the backfield. Not only that, he's a decent pass protector. I didn't understand when Barkley went down neither he nor Brightwell never really was given any snaps. The majority of them went to Breida, a RB that wouldn't be with the team in '24. They did the same thing in ,22 by not giving Brightwell more carries. To see what a RB has to offer they must carry the ball more than 5 carries a game. If you look at Barkley's stats he didn't have a good first half of football.

I think the pick that I wanted to see go different was the Tyler Nubin pick I would have prefered AD Mitchell at #47 could you imagine the WR core with Nabers and Mitchell on the outside with Wan'Dale in the slot and Hyatt as the deep threat. I thought the combo of Nabers and Mitchell would have given the Giants their version of the Bengals duo of Chase and Higgins. I would have waited for Safety until the 3rd round and drafted Jalen Hicks I know he is more of a box safety but I like the physicality he brings. The Giants secondary struggled to tackle last season. Final thought what do you think of the Giants moving Isaiah Simmons to Safety or playing him more as that 3rd safety in the Shane Bowen system instead of playing him as a backup LB. I think he could excel in that position not only would he give them another body in the secondary on pass plays he adds a LB type against the run as well as a guy that can be schemed as a free runner on blitz plays. With his hybrid body type and athleticism he can play either spot which makes him a candidate to rotate and fill on either level when you blitz another player as well. Just my thoughts.

Do you have any news regarding QB Liam Thompson, from Wabash? Oh yeah. He's even a long shot to make the practice squad. Don't just give up on this guy. He's from nowhere but he has talent. He has enough to spark a 21 point deficit to come back for a in. His statistics say a lot. I'd love to have him stay around long enough so that I can watch him on TV. We have too many QB's in the QB room. What I really liked about DeVito was his long ball. I want to see more time from him with an improved OL. I have seen to enough of Jones to determine that (in my opinion) he's not a quality QB. When give time I have seen him leave all of his options (which were all open) and dump the ball of. He knew that by dumping the ball off for 7 yards, Barkley can run for at least 3 yards to get the first down. When you have WR's open down field throw the ball to them. Maybe he didn't trust them.DeVito never had a shot. There was some very bad play calling. I think that he was trying to do to much. He must learn how to throw the ball away. He will. It's called experience. I much rather give him the ball than Lock. Lock has a career percentage rating lower than 60%. I'd also like to see Thompson in the preseason. I also hope that they give 2023 5th round pick RB Gray a shot to be backup.
Well the upside is this guy was a receiver turned into running back so at least he can catch out of the backfield similar to Mcaffery because going forward every running back in pop warner,high school,college and pros need to add that to their game because the value of running backs has decreased so pass protection and pass catching is more vital now

LOL I've learned to take EVERYTHING before the season starts with the BIGGEST grain of salt. This is literally the first year I don't care what I hear, all I'll say is I'm waiting for the season to start. Last year Tre Hawkins was talked about as if he's going to the HOF any day now, and what happened when the season started? He realized he had to put them big boy pants on, that shit isn't as easy as preseason.

Good video! I think that we decide to go with Daniel Kobe’s after the 2022 season. Because of the financial investment we made in Jones, we must allow him to succeed in 2024. After this season, if he fails, we draft a Quarterback. But the tools are there for Jones to succeed. My only concern is Evan Neil.

Giants were ranked 29th in average rushing yards allowed per game allowing 132.4 ypg in 2023. That’s with LW for about half of it. Nothing was done personnel wise to improve in this area. This is the weakest part of the defense. And if they are this bad at it again, there won’t be many opportunities to rush the passer.
