How about night urban lights, I know it's not your style, but try walk out of comfort zone sometimes, you might get some new fresh ideas, and maybe expand your style
I know it’s gonna sound odd but you’re one of the few TH-cam guy I’d love to hug. You’re just so humble, dedicated, happy and always kind when you talk about others. As someone who is shyly trying to start photography and loves watches, your channel really makes me happy. I just wish TH-cam would show me more of your videos.
The sad reality about social media is it’s the weirdos, arrogant ones, and genuine cringe worthy content that gets the attention the most for some reason. People like someone talking crap like Nico does more than awesome drone shots in nature.
There is just something about Omega. I know the masses, want to go Rolex. But for me it's just Omega. I don't have to flex in my life, so that is not a factor.
Beautiful video! I went to Iceland in 2022 and in a little watch shop in Reykjavík I fell in love with the Seiko SPB143, which I bought back at home. The landscape is so amazing, especially your drone shots show that so well and I love the overall composition of this video a lot.
I‘m glad you don‘t want to sell your Seamaster! I got exactly the same watch you got (also in white) and I also orderd this summer the original Omega rubber strap in black with the foldover clasp. Before that, I got it on the original bracelet. Now it looks completly different. I felt once again in love with the watch. 🙂
Hi I have the same omega seamaster but I found the bracelet too heavy to wear I am thinking about getting the rubber strap with the foldover clasp. I am in the fence do you think is worth it?
@@fernandoleon9678 I wore the watch on the bracelet for 2 years. In fact, I wanted to buy a new Seamaster in a different color to have some variety. Since you always read and hear how much a new bracelet changes a watch, I wanted to try a new streap first. I tried on the white Seamaster with the black rubber strap and pin buckle in an Omega boutique. I thought it was great. However, the watch with the pin buckle didn't look as high quality. It was also fiddly to put the watch on. I therefore opted for the foldover clasp. This makes it very easy to put the watch on without running the risk of it falling off. And the clasp is mega good! It's such a great feeling to close the bracelet like this. It also makes the watch look much more sophisticated and it fits better! With rubber straps, there is a risk of the watch becoming too top-heavy. That's why a foldover clasp is better, as it has some counterweight and sits/fits better on the wrist. I think the foldover clasp goes best with the rubber strap.
@@youtubeuser8436 thanks so much for your clear explanation, i have the pin buckle but haven’t tried it yet as I think make the watch look cheap on the opposite I agree with you the folder clasp looks more sophisticated so just need to pull the trigger
Got Tudor monochrome five links couple week ago, and that's gonna be in my collection probably forever. For me it's just timeless time piece in every situation. It's a diver but jubilee makes it more fancy and I can wear it everywhere My next watch goal will probably be Omega Seamaster green version or new Tag GMT green
Why watches makes me happy? Because they are a marvel. Especially the mechanical ones, but also quartz- it is amazing to me, how these things keep time. But the deeper reason.. well, I had an extremely troublesome relationship with my dad. Ever since I had memories, our way of communicating was to argue, shout, get mad, insult each other and even worse- about EVERYTHING. I mean it. Everything. Except, when we talked watches. The only moments in my life that my dad and I just, talked. we never had an argument about it, never lost our tempers completely, never tried to outsmart the other. But I didn’t appreciate this moments of normalcy, not enough. And than he past away. Suddenly, pretty much. I miss him terribly. I was the son who received his modest collection, and I realised our conversations can continue- every time I buy a watch. So I buy, and buy some more, and more, so I can have another talk with him, and another…..
One additional option for you is to fit your SMP with the rubber strap and déployant. I have the exact watch (amongst others), and that new deployant totally expanded the wearing experience. I did the same for my PO. Same experience. Worth it.
Another awesome video, Harrison. You’ve convinced me my next vacation needs to be to Iceland. Glad you’re keeping The King. I have mine on an OEM Omega strap with gold over clasp. It gets the most wrist time by far in my collection. Safe travels and see you in the next one.
Other channels doing Q&A are nothing compared to this. WOW! Amazing scenes, great photography, like your insights, you seem just like Adrian, just a down to earth overall good lad. Keep it up!
Amazing video. Its always about the watch that suits one's lifestyle. I love the look of dress watches, for instance, but I haven't worn a suit in ten years--I also go on daily walks after work and frequent hikes. Anything that isn't at least a bit sporty is going to look like it was dragged through the desert in quick order.
Hunter, beautifully shot and edited..... Gorgeous landscape which is captured with such clarity especially with the, drone shots. Your best video yet...
Nice one Harrison (as always). Great views of Iceland and terrific drone footage. Those astrophotography shots that you took with with Adrian Barker are brilliant. Omega Great White or Pelagos 39, I agree they are too different and not just in price, in an ideal world there could be room for both in a collection.
Hey Harrison definitely you need to try Artem strap, classic sailcloth watch strap black with tang buckle. I have one for my SMP black dial and works perfectly, so comfortable.
The faint wind sounds edited in on the drone shots was a good touch. I watched this on a tiny iPhone screen, but I felt like I was in Iceland with you.
I was in Iceland 2yrs ago wonderful place i also have an omega seamaster the Tokyo also the skyflake Grand Seiko my next purchase will be a GMT i cant make my mind up which ? Really like what Logines are doing also Christopher Ward
Alternative to Omega Aquaterra?- the Omega Railmaster, same case and movement, brushed steel dial, totally left field, discontinued but can be found new for around £2k. A future classic🙂
Fantastic video, the astral photography is epic 👌🏻. I'm biased because I own one, but I'd definitely take the Ranger over the AT, just wish they'd add a date!
Just got my Breguet Tradition Retrograde Seconds 7097 in white gold! It’s a banger but I’m going to cool my heels with collecting (with the exception of a Mr Jones or maybe a SU Series 03) 😂

@@oscarbailey5306 I haven’t gotten it yet. It’s in the mail on it way to me and I’m concerned it’ll still fit very large even as a 42mm, but I’ve waited a long time for them to bring it back down to its original size. It has been my grail, but if it doesn’t work out for some reason I think I might go all the way back down to the new Longines legend diver in the 39mm size with the grey dial which is quite the price jump. I have also thought about the GO seaq 39.5 many times but I’m not sure if it really has that “it” factor for me or not. I’m looking for the perfect everyday piece
Just bought a Rolex and returned my Seiko SSK.. not going to lie.. after I pay this Rolex off I’m going back to get me a custom SKX with the root bear dial 💯
What's your drone setup? I'm a photography but have never gotten into drones and seeing your aerial shots is making feel like a drone is inevitable for me.
This was just stunning... insane photography and I also agree about Scotland. I've been up here for 6 years (used to be in the south West of England) and it's superb The only thing I personally disagree with is the Speedy. Your white Seamaster is much cooler. I've owned the 1861 classic speedy. They are, for me, the ultimate... this white dial is hype, looks like a moon swatch... really never liked them. Makes me shiver ha ha.. get the Zenith tribute A384 if you're craving a cool chrono... speedy in white? No...dull on another level
5k gets you some incredible older watches. I appreciate you meant new, but if you look for it you can get an 1861 speedy for 4k, an Aqua terra for 3k, an IWC pilot mark xviii for 3k Modern watches can be over priced
Long term I believe you would have regrets selling your seamaster, you must have so many great memories whilst wearing that watch. Personally I’m glad to hear it’s staying with you.
Great video. Really like the openness about anxiety etc. You've mentioned ADHD before too - good on you, and am there with you (as are more people than they realise - undiagnosed etc). Really need to fix the Iceland itch. Looks magical.
Your next watch? How about my favourites Citizen ever : CA0711-80H // JR4060-88E // BX1003-08E, or maybe get yourself a Henry Archer watch, you'll love it

Longines conquest is the best alternative to the omega aqua terra

I think the new range of Longines Conquest 38 is the perfect alternative for the Omega AT!
Fantastic photography especially drone shots. Plus great watch talk. Brilliant video overall.
Harrison, your videos get better and better. I am really liking the videography as the main thing with the watches almost secondary. Great video!
His name is Harrison haha.
Such great work on this vid. Highly underrated channel. Thanks for sharing the content and for investing the time and money to bring us this!
