Enjoyed this one as well. I enjoy rum and whiskey as well. They do pair nicely and compliment one another. When it’s really hot here in the US rum is an easier sipper and goes well with the sun and heat. Enjoy my hardest hitting scotches in our extreme colds of winter.
This is the first video I've watched on your channel (I'm an ex-pat Welshman living in Germany) Well done, nicely reviewed. I love your accent, the Scottish/Celtic drawl comes through. The toast for Navy Rum is "Up spirits". I'm also an old military man. Keep up the good work.I'll be back to watch a lot more reviews 👍 Try Pussers Gunpowder proof 54% ( genuine Navy proof, admiralty rum) or Pussers 15 year old ( a wonderful smooth sipper) for a traditional Navy Rum. I would also recommend Eldorado 15 or Goslings Old Rum.Two great sweet, smooth tots
Oh thank you for watching! Brilliant to also now know the toast for Navy Rum. My dad works for the Swedish military so I'm sure he'll be intrigued to know as well since he loves a rum 🙏🏼 I'll definitely keep an eye out for those recommendations - and I've already managed to try the Eldorado - a sweet treat indeed!
Yes Sat here with a Pusser's Gunpowder 54.5% with just a splash of warm water as snow on the ground ! I thanked Oliver for the Black ToT 50th Anniversary blend only the other day, he did a wonderful job with it ! apart from the retail price of it OMG Love the blend details on the Bottle and website very refreshing info that alone made me Buy FYI plus good reports on RumRatings
My first rum was a Havana Club one, and I was like damn I like rum, then I bought a plantacion of 20 years old, which was really good, now I bought a Doorly's of 12 years old and the Black Tot you are reviewing right now, that,s the reason I discovered you.
Bill Monteith I have tried a few! And so far R9 seems to be my absolute favourite ☺️ Had it two summers ago and was blown away by how much vanilla ice cream flavour it had 🍦

You have to try Hampden Rum. Here in Germany it costs round about 55€. It‘s very much for Rum, but it‘s natural rum at its best!
Sounds very intriguing! Thank you for the recommendation 😃
I did wonder what all the noise about this rum was - now I know!
As a fellow SMWS'er have you tried any of their rum offerings. Have grown to truly love rum as a sipping spirit and would love input .
