What is the functional difference between a “dome” and “semi dome” pellet?

Sadly America stop making alot of stuff american labor is to expensive and there is to many regulations here to make it profitable .
America still has alotnof skilled workers but not much manufacturing going on here .
The only air guns I think are made here are AIRFORCE Airguns but not sure if everything they do is made here.
