I remember when I first got this game me and my brothers beat this separately without telling each other what to do . I beat it last and they watched me and asked how was I able to be jekt so fast without deaths. And honestly I wasn't sure. Behaumet was my powerful aeon, and Yuna had this magic called "Holy" which did 99999 to any boss I fought. Not even sure how I got it, I just did. I just used those 2 through like 98% of the fight and tidus voice commands and boom. Dead in less than 5 mins
Your dad is an interdimensional sports star who killed a giant monster before getting absorbed by it so you had to kill him but then you disappeared because it was all a dream? You should probably call social services about that.
I remember this being easy when I played it back on PS2. This was the only boss I struggled with on the remaster. Probably because I couldn't just spam the overdrive moves of Yuna's aeons.
I remember when I beat this guy after 20 rounds of BS losses, it took every summon unleashing their overdrives as well as double casting Ultima over and over again for me to beat him. And don't forget that if you lose you have to rewatch the cutscene before the fight. Every. Single. Time. Needless to say, I hated this boss
I challenged myself by doing no riku no Blk magic no summon if one of the characters turn into stone they can't be turned back to normal it took my way too long
I beat the game technically yesterday as I'm writing this and I loved every moment with this game. Whats funny is near the end I mainly focused on yuna so by the end she had 504 mp with double cast and was dealing minimum 6k each blizaga to jecht. tidus and auron were minor damage dealers but, especially tidus, were ultimately supporting. I also never realized you can switch overdrive modes so the whole game I was always using stoic instead of anything else. Now I didn't play the remastered version I played the ps2 version but either way really good game but I wish everyone got a them moment, majority of the cast did but Lulu and Rikku I wish got a them moment. I also never used Rikku since she started base stats and while you can level her up quickly I never wanted to put time into her so I mainly focused on the rest of the party, mainly Yuna, Tidus, and Auron. Conclusion? 8-9/10 game and the best opening piece of music in any FF game, I haven't heard many since I've only played most of crisis core, 7, and now 10 so take it with a grain of salt). I wanna wrap up san andreas but after that going head first into x-2 and I hope I love it the same, and sorry for the rant but I really loved this game and the music as a whole but its still not as good as 7 imo (I also have a good story for the final boss if anyone truly reads this and wants to know)
14:11 Yuna pass the ball t⚽ her man! (because she hate her in law) Tidus strikes his demonic😈 daddy jecht right in the face! Gooooooooal. Jecht got taken out by blitz ball? Really?,
disturbedfreak34 In the remastered version you can choose whether to develop your party with the Sphere Grid, or the Expert Grid. I used the Expert Grid where you get abilities faster but attribute points slower.
I remember I played this on PS2 about 2 years after it released so everything about it was available on GameFAQs (remember that?). Got every secret in the game, got to Jecht and beat him in 15 seconds. Kinda wish I never looked on there, but I can't go through a 50 hour game TWICE.
Damn when I was a little kid when I fought this guy he kicked my ass I wasn't really able to beat him as a kid. In my teen years I made him eat 99999 damage cause I have max stats lols
+Hylian Dragoon If you go without the Celestial weapons and the sphere grid incomplete the you'll see It's an annoying fight but a little challenge as well.
I like that you waited for Tidus to get the last hit. Symbolic.
Jecht: Hey
Tidus: Ha....
Whoever had the idea to put the "otherworld" OST in this battle is the GOAT
I have always thought the same thing. It was absolutely brilliant, and appropriate as well.
I’ll never forget the first time playing this section, more than 20 years ago.

Like a bodybuilding father who took steroids and his natty son is looking up to him but doesnt want to sin.
Joe Kensei n
The pure relationship between me and my father. I love this game
Your dad is an interdimensional sports star who killed a giant monster before getting absorbed by it so you had to kill him but then you disappeared because it was all a dream? You should probably call social services about that.
Yella Dart Your comment is epic.
My father is lost somewhere in the past memories.
This the only dude that maxed out khmari
He’s my favorite character, so of course I gave him the most stuff.
@@LeopardSamurai respect
Finished the game 2 days ago ngl I tried keeping up with him but dropped him near the end but I grinded everyone else lmao
@keropi328 we all do I think lol
Its very easy to maxed out every character and get 99 Sphere grid
The feeling of playing this for the first time and hearing that guitar drop… 🔥
the ending,,
oh god that ending,,
my heart hurts so much,,
He makes this look way easier than it is
one of my top 3 favorite games ever
this game made me think of strategies to defeat the enemies
5:23 This hurt because he genuinely wanted to talk to Tidus a bit before they fought.
When the jecht battle theme hits you knew you was in for some serious shit
The choice to play The Revealed Truth at the beginning is fantastic. It’s a beautifully sad track. .
Dad..
Yeah..
5:30 - achoo
Aaron Stover 😂
what an epic battle theme
So goddamn badass
This is such an amazing moment in the game. It should have been the final battle imo. It had such build up and atmosphere and emotional pay off.
who left all these onions here... ;~;
Blame Wakka. (Kappa)
rpggamer16 hey. What's the song at the end where it says "to be continued"
Human strengths and weakness from Final Fantasy type-0.
That is so sad that his father is sin and auron was probably sad inside
While I am sorry that Jecht had to become Sin, his Sin Form looks badass as fuck.
And his boss theme 🤘🤘🤘
“Haecht!” - Tidus, upon meeting his father again.
I remember this being easy when I played it back on PS2. This was the only boss I struggled with on the remaster. Probably because I couldn't just spam the overdrive moves of Yuna's aeons.
*que the best music in the game*
I kinda love it there is no hate between tidus and Jecht, just sad circumstances
@JennieKim-dv6dsI think it was complicated for Tidus. Beneath it there was love.
I remember when I beat this guy after 20 rounds of BS losses, it took every summon unleashing their overdrives as well as double casting Ultima over and over again for me to beat him. I'm sure no one passed this on their first go
Meanwhile me with excalibur 3times quick hit this bossfight
4:17 RIP Sir Jecht
massive respect to you for buffing kimahri. Most players just drop him
Thanks! I love Kimahri!
If you not hitting for 99999, your character wasn't shit
Jecht should have added after the "save it for later" , there will be more tears then.
So I'm guessing that the reason why I kept getting hit by the Jecht Beam at Yuna was because I used magic attacks against him? Lol
I challenged myself by doing no riku no Blk magic no summon if one of the characters turn into stone they can't be turned back to normal it took my way too long
Perfect finishing move by Tidus lmao
Nice way to finish the fight
Oh look it's Gro-Goroth
I loved the good ending FFX2
This game was so epic :).
Love the song too

can you beat him without flare??
14:11
Yuna pass the ball t⚽ her man!
(because she hate her in law)
Tidus strikes his demonic😈 daddy jecht right in the face!
Gooooooooal.
Jecht got taken out by blitz ball?
Really?,
That’s that the bridge was not a big deal
99000k two hits have a great after life dad
Wait a minute.....Varric? Is that you?
hahaha this is the best boss ever, what a track!
Fav game besides kingdom hearts
Man yojimbo was my fav. With him and his one attack i beat all of them with LUCK
He had loads of attacks but the one where he sliced them in half was crazy
So is this the remastered version?
And this may be a dumb question, but what is a expert grid run?
disturbedfreak34 In the remastered version you can choose whether to develop your party with the Sphere Grid, or the Expert Grid. I used the Expert Grid where you get abilities faster but attribute points slower.
That system sounds awesome!
That's it- I've been convinced. I must own this now.
I miss old jecht RIP he caused of death were been killed by Evil rydia
I remember I played this on PS2 about 2 years after it released so everything about it was available on GameFAQs (remember that?). Got every secret in the game, got to Jecht and beat him in 15 seconds. Kinda wish I never looked on there, but I can't go through a 50 hour game TWICE.
You can when you're 10 years old
Damn when I was a little kid when I fought this guy he kicked my ass I wasn't really able to beat him as a kid. In my teen years I made him eat 99999 damage cause I have max stats lols
Lol I had trouble too first time I played. Was 18 at the time. Couldn't seem to beat magnus on the cliff. But now I was able to beat the game
Lulu ♥️
People say this fight is hard? Why does it look so easy then?
Cause my party is very strong and have the full powered celestial weapons.
+Hylian Dragoon This is a very easy fight, but you gotta have the right preparations tho.
+Hylian Dragoon Prep & grinding def make it easier. Sin is a easy compared to some of the Calm Island bosses & Omega.
+Hylian Dragoon If you go without the Celestial weapons and the sphere grid incomplete the you'll see
It's an annoying fight but a little challenge as well.
+LordWellington35 Tell that to Shin Megami Tensei, m8.
What is that song playing during the fight? It's pretty awesome!
It's called Otherworld.
The Next Sin
Wakka is hitting for 30k
your characters hit way too hard lol. it takes all the fun away..
@@eld847 Yeah I just got to this point and have died like twice haha. I can only last for so long during the second phase.
It call putting in that work
