    Hey guys, my wife (and kids) have very sensitive skin. We use cloth diapers and washable inserts. They are cheaper and much much better for the baby’s skin.

    Boa noite.

      I would love to but we actually are back in the US now. We hope to come back to Floripa in the future.
      It was a great place to have our daughter and we really enjoyed it. If you have any questions about that or Floripa in general feel free to reach out. I am happy to help.

    Hey guys. Thx for the video... We (My wife, daughter and I) are moving to Inglasis in a month. We have been in Rio and we Uber everywhere and was significantly cheaper (and less stressful) than owning a car. We were thinking of having to buy a car but how are the Ubers there? Does it take long to get? Are you able to get Ubers ok at the North of the island? I was thinking they my be a little sparce? Many thx!

    • @americaninbrasil
      @americaninbrasil  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can take a little longer to find an uber but we never had a problem getting one, even when my wife went into labor at 4 AM. We bought a car because it was miserable taking uber's with a baby but if our daughter had been a little older (4+) Uber would be the way to go. It is so cheap and convenient on the island.

      That's great to hear! I am glad the videos are helping.. Yes, absolutely. It is going to be right in the middle of the busy season and it is going to be very difficult to find a rental during that time. Definitely start looking immediately

    Man is the weather really unstable? I live in North and weather is so awesome…South seems so beautiful specially mountains like Rancho Queimado…but question is a person that loves good weather…is it still nice for like 4-6 months a year?

    • @americaninbrasil
      @americaninbrasil  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I thought Florianopolis had the best weather of anywhere I had lived excluding SD. It is good 12 months of the year barring a few cyclones. It only gets really hot (above 90) a handful of days and below 60 a handful of days. There are some heavy rains here and there but it was super enjoyable the year and a half we were there

      We liked our location in ingleses norte (outside of the busy season). It was quiet, close to the beach and pretty affordable. It depends on what you are looking for but most places in ingleses I would not want to live because of how congested it gets.

    So your rent is only about $500 dollars?

    • @americaninbrasil
      @americaninbrasil  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes, and with utilities and all it comes to about $650. I have to say that even though it is cheap renting here is much more stressful as you (the tenant) are responsible for a lot/ almost everything in your rental. Even if the law says differently.

      @@americaninbrasil I understand that very well. Even though I have lived in California for most of my life. I was born in your neighboring country of Uruguay and visit often. So I understand, it's frustrating to us who aren't used to that way of living. We are now looking into Floripa to live. Thank you for your response. It helped a lot.
