- Us thrashers Forbidden third demo tape before they changed their name to Forbidden!
Forbidden Evil changed their name to Forbidden in 1987 in order to avoid being labeled a black metal band. Before the band changed name Robb Flynn was replaced by Glen Alvelais, John Tegio by Matt Camacho and James Pittman by Paul Bostaph.
*This demo features Robb Flynn (Vio-lence,Machine Head) on guitars.
Release Date: June 11th, 1986.

“I profit all, all that you got, give it to me!” Nice to know that Forbidden wrote the best known Vio-Lence song.
Robb was on this demo and in Vio-lence, so he probably just took the song with him and reworked it lol.

I almost forgot how much slower Chalice was on the demo. I remember SLAM'N through their whole set, but when they played Chalice, we would go INSANE.

Me and Grant were hanging out with Rob after a Machine Head show, when we brought that up, he said, " I'm glad they did that, makes a better story." 😂😅😂😅

Sounds like Slayer. But with the amazing lacing of Flynn. Good shit. Id never heard this til just now.
The ups and downs of the recording takes some of the pop out it, such a shame. Next to die is clearly recognizable too from I profit from Vio-lence.
