Re-watching this after almost 2 years. Alejandro (ScaryPoolParty) is about to release his 3rd album. This performance with Ben Harper was so cool - it was like watching a Grammy's performance. His solo music is so different from this - he's so talented and versatile. Looking forward to seeing what he does next.

This was just next level, and it resonated with the audience, even if they don't get the technical stuff. I already really admire Alejandro's guitar skills, I think because he is self taught he knew what kind of sounds he wanted and he learned how to make them, this wasn't typical Alejandro guitar either, you can tell when an artist really appreciates another artist, and Ben and Alejandro put a lot of time in this. An artist like him is so rare to find. I like it how Katy says it, he’s such an “Emo homie” . He sings and plays instruments and get everyone the “feeling” to show love, kindness, compassion or simply be a homie.
