This dish looks absolutely gorgeous. I make one similar with garbanzo beans and feta. But your version looks so good I’m definitely going to make it. Thank you for sharing it💋
@@MatthewAugusta I will.I think because you and I are both Italian we definitely have very similar tastes. Again that was gorgeous absolutely gorgeous!
I had had this breakfast a long time ago but never knew the name! I had thought maybe it was shakshuka, but the ingredients had definitely been italian. I'll have to try this recipe out!
m not Italian but that is the way old Southern ladies crush tomatoes too. just git in there with your hands! looks so good, but then I have always loved a big slice of tomato with my eggs.
Ehi, loved your video! We al butcher words that are not from our native language, as an Italian I often make english mistakes. What I’ve found to be helpful is just looking it up on google translate and hearing it played back, really helps me. Next time you’ll know its Ricotta, not rigott. (Its actually true for most italian words… we say it using all the letters we used to write it)
Ive made this or shakshuka to the best of my ability a few times. Poaching eggs in the sauce is tough and i always over cook them. Rn my only adequate sized pan has a plastic handle so Ill have to fry the eggs put them on top.

Made this for my wife and she loved it, thanks for the great recipe
There is a Moroccan dish called Shakshuka quite similar. It’s topped with cilantro or parley instead of basil.
I’ll have to check it out! 🥂
Great recipe! I'll try it. Great video production as well.
Thank you! 🥂

Not if you're Italian
Softening the C into a G and dropping the final vowel is a feature of Napolitano. Or should I say I say Napolitan’.
sugar in an italian dish ??? the nonnas are rolling their graves
you should add more sugar....
This was a really good version but I must say watching your wedding ring go into the sauce was off putting. Just a suggestion for future.
