Futuristic and funky indeed! Seen the live show this weekend and the roof came off. Also met people in the audience who were really sweet and we danced! 🥰🌸🦚
Altin Gün is not the singer, but the band. This is my favorite recent song from any Dutch band. I love them. I watched this kexp video dozens of times. The band Altin Gun was established by their Dutch bass player: Jasper Verhulst. 2 other band-members are Dutch. The singer / keyboard player and the female keyboard player are Turkish. So are their lyrics and their music. The band is inspired by Anatolian/Turkish psychedelic music from the 70ties and 80ties. So the funk feel isn’t that far fetched.
I had to correct myself. I wrote that the drummer is Australian. He looks a lot like the previous drummer of the Australian band King Gizard & the lizard wizard. Both bands have toured and worked together. That’s why people often think it’s the drummers are the same person.
It's a reinterpretation of Turkish psychedelic and funk music of the 60's and 70's.Artists of that era such as Barış Manço,Erkin Koray mixed traditional Turkish music with modern elements. It is resurfacing again today because its so damn cool.
Altın Gün (Golden Day) is a Grammy-nominated band with Turkish, Dutch and Indonesian members playing Turkish songs. I suggest you to react Altın Gün - Yolcu (Live) and Altın Gün & Metropole Orkest - Ordunun Dereleri (live). There are so many awesome songs. I also suggest you to check other songs sung by female vocalist (all live): Yanıyorum Kolbastı Leyla Tatli Dile Güler Yüze Goca Dünya Cemalim
I think u r Indonesian dude. Guitarist is English, vocalists are Turkish and others are Dutch musicians. I think you are not Turkish as much as your name.
@@MS.PapaSmurf Gino has Indonesian roots, but was born in the Netherlands. He is also member of an Indonesian band. Same for Ecevit and other members, all born in the Netherlands (except Merve). If Ecevit is Turkish (at the same time being Dutch), then Gino is Indonesian beside being Dutch. Or whatever. Well it does not matter who is from where. They are all good musicians. If you want to correct something that you think is wrong just do it. But that is not your business to comment about me. You don't know who I am in person, just be polite. I am Turkish and it's clear you are from the creek. Just get out of my comment.

React to Sebnem Ferah, you will not regret it, she is a rock queen, Şebnem Ferah 2007 İstanbul concert " Ben şarkımı söylerken ", Trust me
these songs are old local turkish songs they remake it as psychedelic rock as anatolian rock was back in early days
This is a love song. He talks about the characteristics of the person he loves and how he falls in love with her.
