What’s the movie Resident Evil - The Final Chapter about?
The T-virus unleashed by the evil Umbrella Corp. has spread to every corner of the globe, infesting the planet with zombies, demons and monsters. Humanity falters after Alice (Milla Jovovich from Return to the Blue Lagoon and The Fifth Element), a former Umbrella employee turned rogue warrior, is betrayed by Albert Wesker (Shawn Roberts) in Washington, D.C.. As the last survivor of what should be humanity's last stand against the zombie hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began, Raccoon City. There, Umbrella Corporation gathers its forces for a final assault on the last survivors of the Apocalypse. There was fake antivirus in the bottle in Alice's hand,
why not ,umbrella has do anything ,cloning,make human have robot eye ,etc so make antivirus work like a charm not hard for them.

Weird that the Red Queen chose to do lockdown instead of use or suggest the anti-virus because “there was no guarantee it would work” when it works so well.

Don’t care about fans / people say, I grew up with this franchise, played the game thanks to it, I followed Alice’s story from the first one in 2001-2002 ? (I went to the theater for the first one and I was just 4-5 yrs old lmao glad the security didn’t see my sister and me) to this one, I watched every movie in the theater, and for this one I was a grown women in university.. i shed a tear. it’s huge part of my childhood/ teenage/ and adult

The REAL problem with all of these "Final Chapter" movies is that they aren't the final chapter once someone says, "Hey, let's make another sequel." Even though the material has been run into the ground five times before. Doesn't matter to the creatively bereft writers whose stale ideas permeate this genre of movies.
It's a movie. It's a business enterprise. It's art, only secondary, if at all.
If it will make a profit, film it.
Relax.
What if it's a movie without any threats just a follow-up and rebuilding of humanity

@@henryfinnan9456 that can’t be true, Alice said her journey doesn’t end there and it will take years for it to reach around the world. Also, I highly doubt all of umbrella is dead, because given all the cloning/simulations umbrella have been doing it could even be possible that the people Alice met in the final chapter were also clones and she still hasn’t met the real umbrella. As we have seen, the clones are so convinced they are the real one it’s hard to believe we ever met the real one of anybody at this point.
That place is gonna smell pretty ripe in a few days.
Don't know if I read this correctly , but I recall reading somewhere that zombie flesh doesn't smell (aka they don't stink when they rot because the T Virus kills normal bacteria that would create the smell) even the ones that are 'killed' by a shot to the head. That's how you can tell an uninfected dead body from a zombie body, the Zombie doesn't reek of rotting flesh. Also, how could they sneak up on you if you could smell them a mile away? hahahaha. I also recall that the 'decay' was mostly desiccation and mummification. They didn't bloat up like normal dead bodies so they wasted away in a 'dry' manner, like dust. None of the zombies, even the most decayed ones turned into bloated 'soap' corpses. I think that was proof that their flesh was indeed very different that a normal human's.

Wasn't available or known until now. What makes you think that the antidote existed in the first few movies? Either way, the only people who WOULD have known would have been Umbrella, and they actually wanted the T virus to 'reshape the world' so that they would come out as masters of the world, but their own creation got away from them and became uncontrollable.
The antidote to the t-virus was in the first movie, had it been released immediately following the outbreak it would've been contained within the hive instead of being released onto the streets of raccoon City.
@@andrewjordan3884 I don’t think many people such as Alice knew that back then in the early stages of the franchise, but surely some of the doctors/researchers in the hive knew this and would have done this or it could be that the person that knew this information died before they could even do anything.

The final confrontation before the next final confrontation. All leading up to the ultimate final confrontation 9 movies later. Which in turn leads to the true mega ultimate final confrontation 4 more movies later. Mila will of course be 90 at this point and still be making RE movies

Some problems I had with this movie that extend to the whole franchise:
- How in the everloving hell are buildings still standing years after Raccoon City got decimated by a literal nuke. As a matter of fact, why is *anything* remotely standing in RC ?? When Alice drives into the city there are even cars perfectly parked on the highway.
- The laughable convienience of Claire Redfield also being in Raccoon City
- Wesker dying, of all things possible, to a door
- Alice still having the T virus inside her. I thought Wesker took her powers away?
- "I'm you, you idiot"
- Isaacs dying to his clone, not shooting Alice as soon as he got the antivirus and just standing there like an idiot
- "I'm me, he's not me" *dies right after*
- Zombies piling up in a circular, almost comical way after the antivirus is released. You'd think at least some of them would last a bit longer before they checked out.
This movie is a shit show and Dr Issacs murdered over seven billion people

WTF just happened at the end here!?
They developed a virulent ANTI T-Virus. This was the only one apparently and exposing it to the air, deactivated the 'regeneration' ability of the original T Virus. Thus it KILLS any Creature animated with or created by the T virus. So apparently the wind was blowing TOWARDS the zombie horde. When Alice broke the vial, the ANTI T-Virus swept across the landscape, killing ALL of the zombies immediately. The risk to Alice was that SHE herself was a creation of the T Virus so there was a risk that SHE would be killed as well, but she decided (obviously) that her own death was a risk she was willing to take in order to stop the T Virus monsters from destroying the entire world.
Watching my childhood nightmare movies with my kids has became an obsession now❤

In the novelization, clone Isaacs did not say anything after killing the original; he instead drew a grin as he was about to gut Alice next... Right before zombirs killed him.

Up until the movie has almost a hundred jump cuts in the span of minute…that’s just terrible editing work and shouldn’t have been in any part of the final edit.

Alice was meant to die in this scene, and I think they should have kept that ending. It would have been more fitting with the "this is the end of my story" theme.

This sucked. The last movie was not anything it was set up to be. Alice doesn't even exist in the original Resident Evil story... then in Resident Evil Afterlife, they make a great film with so many qualities from the game and set up the finale to be a big brawl with all of our favorite characters...
But...
Instead we got this film where they instead introduced a bunch of throwaway characters making the whole storyline about Alex and the doctor AGAIN... so disappointing. I wanted to see Jill, Claire, Chris, Alice, and Wesker go ham on zombies... 👎
Bad Ending:the case of the cure is made of bulletproof glass and alice is eaten alive and the humanity destroy
I loved the first four movies,the fifth wasn’t that bad it just felt a little rushed but this one felt completely rushed and everything was moving so fast. However I still enjoyed it but I think the reason it was so rushed was because I’m pretty sure they were planning on making seven movies but ended up doing six instead but I could be wrong.
