there wasn't even a scene that needed to be deescalated, the boys were just interviewing Slacks and Forte was clearly making a scene out of nothing. I'm glad the pd is moving forward, even if the changes are coming slowly.
Gregory Johnson was fired for way less than this (couple months back). This should be a minimum 2 week suspension considering this guy legitimately shit talked & riled up CG for literally no reason

I remember first watching nopixel and seeing FTOs quiz the rookies on laws, making sure they stopped at red lights, and behaving like a cop. I think the lack of taking the role as a serious one has been showing for a while.

The "senior deputy" title is for IN HOUSE officers, not the general public. The fact that CG called him deputy at all makes his actions even worse. Especially in casual conversation.

You're referring to when Decker was solo chasing hydra threatening to shoot them, not breaking off a non violent chase for shots fired at the hospital and constantly insulting them? Resulted in 2 officers down and a ems ride along being in the middle of gunshots. Yea definitely a much worse situation that had zero punishment

I think the point is that we all know this has been happening. But now, at least this moment, they are at least TRYING to hold cops accountable, after all that been happening over the past 2 weeks.

In the realm of roleplay or reality, it is unwise to provoke gang members they simply don't take kindly to disrespect anyone will feel that way. It is not limited to just CG; all gangs on NoPixel have respectable pride, and must also maintain a good image in front of their viewers. All and all It was foolish to insult CG, the officer "backing" slacks is highly a kiss ass way to save himself. We all understand that Slacks does not command respect, the guy rp character is just embarrassment.

Forte getting riled up over rank when rank doesn’t really matter to civilians was silly. If a cop was calling Slacks a deputy over snr deputy then I would understand, but his reaction to non cops doing it was a bit much. Most civilians don’t know or care about internal rank. Only time it matters to them is if they have a complaint and that’s it.

Forte should be at the least suspended. His childish actions lef to several people being shot. Slacks was not offended at them calling his deputy. The guy has had four ranks in the last two or three weeks or so. No wonder people might get it wrong. It's fine to correct them but being so snappy about and then goin on and and escalating every thing they asked or said was bound to lead to what happened.
