Absolutely love the Max and Mindy crew. The free flow discussions between seasoned aviators is so awesome. This is one of the reasons I really love flying. Getting to know people, trading off PIC on flights. It just doesn’t get better than that in flying.
For someone that's used to sitting in 35B at the back of the plane, this is so exciting to see how it works at the pointy end of the aircraft. So happy to see so much attention to detail.
The friendship, communication and respect with which you treat each other is a fantastic example of great Crew Resource Management. It is not just a box ticking exercise for insurance purposes. When you put two competent professional pilots together, especially ones who work as well as you do with each other, the result truly is greater than the sum of the parts. This enhances safety. And apart from all that - it is really fun to watch you two working together. Great content. All the best to you both and please keep these joint videos coming.

I would guess it has something to do with the fact that Mindy was the one taking off and landing the jet and she might not have the type rating for this specific type of aircraft, so to avoid FAA problems he just cut it out

I flew commercial into Burbank on a SW 737 years ago and that rwy 8 landing is no joke for the big iron. LIke the pilots stomped those brakes and had the reversers on full right away...don't want to wind up in that blast fence at the end of rwy 8 for sure.
love the new content max, and having a 1st officer has to make the flights more entertaining for yourself. also been enjoying when you're on twitch too
GA or Jets. GA or Gliders, definitely two sides of the brain. I’ve flown all 3. I noticed a big difference in my GA flying after learning the glider side.
Totally agree on the Jet Vs GA side. I fly a Embraer Legacy full time & then instruct on SEP during my days off. Definitely helps keep those stick and rudder skills up!

Schmiindy, I agree with you on keeping everything as close to the level you want in all the different aircraft.
