This brings back so many pleasant memories of my younger years! The original Ratchet & Clank is awesome! So is the rest of the game series! Ahhh… nostalgia!
I played the original Rachet and Clank when I was about 6 back in 2012. Now, 5 years later, I am in love with this game! Ratchet is a very smart Lombax and Clank is a very handy robot!

The Nefarious final boss was exasperating. I had to replay it over so many times because of the enemies flying around and his BS abilities that killed you in 0.5 seconds. And while I somewhat prefer the atmosphere and soundtrack of the original game this reboot is absolutely stunning. Insomniac doing what they do best. Highly recommend.

Absolutely brilliant game. So enjoyable the graphics look unbelievable for a ps4 game that came out in 2016. If its played on ps5 it runs at smooth 60fp

Its such a phenomenal game.One of the best Ive played.Easily one of my top 10 maybe 5 games of all time.Finished it 4 times and thinking about picking this up again.The gameplay was soo addictive and full of fun.And on top of that georgous graphics which comparing to Rift Apart feel a bit bland.There is so much going on in Rift Apart it makes Reboot's world very empty and dead.Still one of the prettiest games of last generation.

This game was the first Ratchet and Clank game I actually got to play all the way through, I know it doesn’t really do that much justice you the original story but it was certainly more fun and enjoyable then the movie. I remember back when this game came out when I was 10, I actually played All for one but I barely remembered it because it was so long ago, when the movie trailer for this came out I certainly recognized it and I loved the game when I first played it, I beat Rift apart about a month ago and when I finish Shadow of the Tomb Raider I’ll do a replay of this.
This game was fun, and was my first time playing any Ratchet and Clank game, but I didn't know that the upcoming PS5 game Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart isn't a sequel to this version, but a sequel to the timeline of the original games. The new one will still probably be fun though.

I hate it when people grind this game for being unlike the original in ways due to the retcons which are due to a 10-month development cycle and what most people forget is that this is an updated REIMAGINING of the ps2 original, and that Ratchets design is different personally wise. Qwark still rejects him for being under the radar with illegal shit, right? And he’s okay with lying to clank if he wants to, so clearly he’s still shady in some areas but not all the time.
How did you manage to get all/most of the weapons, golden bolts, upgrades etc. and play the game like with a new save? Also can't you upgrade/buy weapons with only bolts?

Its such a broken game... 4:08:49 - On the circuit breaker Gold Bolt - FYI its technically impossible to trip the first circuit breaker without a wired third party controller in RAC 2016. **EXPLANATION**: DualShock 4 has too much input latency (39ms on avg, depending on battery level, no matter if wired) to make the wrench swing, jump + left combo possible in the 37 frames given for input pickup in this port of the first game. The input list is: Window: 37 frames with grind rail backpedal Left Analog Y axis+ (down) - grind rail backpedal. Left Analog X axis+ (right) + Square - Breaker wrench hit Left Analog X axis- (left) + Cross - Transfer Jump Cross - Jump Insomniac removed the backpeddling feature from grind rails in the port due to the insomniac museum glitch exploit people where using to clip to the museum area early. Backpeddling made the window in the PS3 version for the gold bolt possible, but removing it entirely to remove backpedal stalls to arrest grindrail state (the glitch to get to the museum early) caused another problem. Insomniac has yet to address this issue - If a game cannot be played with the stock controller Sony considers it much bad form. It was very difficult in the PS3 version of the level, but not impossible. They changed a lot about Ratchet's physics. Its one of those things an old player can get first try on the PS3 version, then go here and further prove their point insomniac is killing RAC :P I was able to obtain the Gold Bolt / Skill Point by using a wired afterglow (third party controller) with lower latency and sensitivity settings on the left analog stick and third-party controller firmware which allows Right + Square, Left + X to be buffered sequentially.
