Hey mate,
Thought you'd like it 🙂.
Thats Jonahh Nilsonn on vocals/keys
Hendrik Linder on bass.
Aron Mellegardh on drums.
Great band.
Yes I agree with your comments about Jonah sounding a mix of Michael Jackson, Stevie etc and from what I've read about their influences....Their biggest influence was TOTO.
Say no more...
You know I'm based 😉.
Chat soon mate.
Jonah doesn't even consider himself primarily a singer. He's said he's mainly a keyboardist, and if he had to choose, he would choose the keyboards.
Crazy hey?
He's a great keyboard player in his own right but his voice just adds to the tracks obviously
👍👍
Gary thanks so much for getting this played. I requested this a year ago, more than once, and nothing. Gotta be part of the paying crowd to be heard. At any rate, hopefully he hears Breakdown and Follow The Light one day. Dirty Loops is so damn good man. And a 3pc band at that! Thanks again sir.
I just wanna say.. thank you for being you !!
Honest good old lovin music guy , im feeling the same beat like you !
Thanks man ❤️
If I could like this video more than once I would 😂 bro, I had the exact same reaction when I heard this! Love when fellow musicians just feel the brilliance and vibe with it.
Lmao "nobody's vegan in this room!" 🤣
Dude, you've been close to comatose falling asleep on Dirty Loops! They recently dropped a DOPE cover of Thriller my friend so have at it! lol
If you want to hear him do the run of runs, check out the first original, that they released back in 2014, Hit Me. And he does these kind of runs live as well. All three of them are at an absolutely ridiculous level. Sweden's finest, right there.
And as for their eating habits, I have heard the drummer mention, in an interview, that he actually doesn't eat meat. :D
Oh wow that band is so cool, thank you for introducing us to them. Going to check out some more of their tunes
Check out Dirty Loops with Cory Wong.
😂 love it! Great reaction!
Love Dirty Loops. Saw them live some months ago. They are phenomenal
Definitely gotta react to Dirty Loops hit me. That was my intro to them and they’re amazing
MOREEEEEE DIRTY LOOPS!!!!!!
Time for more epic Dirty Loops! 🤯
Oh, you got some real finds to explore! 🔥🔥🔥
If MJ and Stevie Wonder had a child it would be this singer, Jonah Nilsson.
It's a swedish band, managed by Quincy Jones!
Saw them live yesterday! W O W!
I know you like ballads. Then you should check out "Breakdown".
D L is all top plrs and made alot of great songs and covers. next try out "Next to you" or "Thriller" or "Work shit out"
Loved this reaction. So cool when a reactor totally commits to the music they're listening to and you did to delightful effect. Keep it up my good man a true treat.
Everyone in this band eats fried chicken! There are no vegans! 😂😂
Oh, man! This is a just begining))) Work shit out, Follow the light, Next to You, Thriller etc...
Gotta hear him on "hit me"
Amazing reaction video! These guys are in a league of their own 🔥
You said "nobody's vegan in this group" and I'm WHEEZING!!! I don't know what they eat, but whatever it is, it's fueling this epicness and they need to keep on. I found your reaction to "Rolling in the Deep" when I went down the DL rabbit hole last year. So perhaps this is your reminder that you got work to do, my friend. You gon' need that rag when you do "Next to You". That song is the whole Black church experience like I've never heard. Might be why it's my favorite song from them. And if you want real Stevie Wonder vibes, check out "Accidentally in Love". Jonah (lead singer) goes full Stevie on that song and it's glorious. It's on of their older originals. I love how you pointed out that the bassist's look gave a certain vibe upon seeing him and then it changed once you heard him play. I'm obsessed with that dude because of his soul. The genre doesn't even have to be soul for the soulfulness to ooze out of his fingers (another reason you need to check out "Next to You"). He's definitely been to a cookout or two lol! Lastly, the lead singer did release a solo project recently. It's decent. Not the pop off it should've been vocally, IMO. I do love "Independent Girl" and "I Just Need". The latter is very Al Jarreau's "Morning" meet Paul McCartney/MJ's "The Girl is Mine". Very nice song. Anyway, please continue down the rabbit hole so you can get stuck down there like the rest of us. It's fun down here. Also, you asked how old they are. The bassist is 37. I believe the singer is 35. The drummer might fall in the middle but I'm not sure. Lastly, I appreciate you showing the consideration you put into how to show the actual video and keeping blocking in mind. A lot of people don't think about that aspect when they watch reactions. They wanna see what you see, but sometimes labels won't let that happen.
They turn mushrooms into fried chicken you know….😂😂😂
Check out their song Work shit out absolutely incredible
YESSSSS!!!! I’ve been hoping you’d see these fellas!! So good
Just as an extra: you can see more how they are by watching the credits at the end of their songs. Great sense of humor! They have a lot of songs you will love. Dive in!
Yayay!! I so love Dirty Loops! They are fantastic! I knew your reaction would be fire. :) I can’t wait for you to check out their collabs with Cory Wong - Thriller, Follow The Light, and then their Next to You will take you straight to church!!
Classically trained musicians in Sweden. You nailed it Stevie and Micheal. If you want to be taken to church do their song Next to You.
You need to checkout "Breakdown" by them the vocals are great and you see his range!
You need to check out ''Hit me''. Those runs are crazy, especially the last one
Bro, check out their collabs with Cory Wong and his horn section - if you can STAND being even more blown away that you are by this!
Love them too! Love your reaction !
Supreme Swedish Savagery
They're on Quincy Jones' label. Amazing band
It’s about time you came back to them! If you’re scared now, just wait… this isn’t even half as acrobatic, flexible or awesome as Jonah’s voice actually is. Check out Next to you, Breakdown, Follow the light.
The singer, Jonah Nilsson, sings a song called 'Diamond Ring' with some different Swedish musicians, with Steve Vai sitting in. And Quincy Jones is also in that video.
Hoping to go hear Dirty Loops next April (2024) in Chicago at House of Blues.
I can only love a person who reacts the same way I do!! 😀 Keep them coming, man! So much more DL-greatness to see/hear! Greetings from the Motherland! 🙂
Thanks for suggesting this tune, Gary. This was the funnest reaction! I love it when other people’s minds get boggled, too :)
These three dudes are all ridiculously talented, and it’s so good to see them getting the recognition they deserve.
This tune is on fire! 🔥
Check out “Next to You”, or their cover of MJs “Thriller, or “Follow the Light” from their collaboration with Cory Wong.
Or any one of their songs, they’re all great!
Thanks 🙏
No worries.....
Yes there is still major talented Muso's in the world.
Sadly so much of it has to be discovered by us searching on the net...
When your hearing great music performed by real people.
That will never die.
@@garypeterson8394 absolutely!
Keep on suggesting Dirty Loops 👍
Great reaction! More Dirty Loops! Check out "Next To You" by them next!!!
wow, thanks for a reaction that gave a lot of energy. The singer's name is Jonah Nilsdon (he has also released a magical solo album which I recommend you to react to, test "diamond ring") the next song with DL should be "next to you" or why not ”follow the light”
100% you should do follow the light next. blew my mind the first time i heard it.
Jonah Nilsson!
Their song Work Shit Out is awesome also.
This is another level band . 3 guys that can do no wrong . My favorite is [work shit out] . great fusion . I found them about 3 years ago and have been following them ever since.
I always love your reactions. Dirty Loops and Home Free are a must for me every day.
It's not fair that everyone in the group is the best one. Thats why they are so F_ _ _ king good. I'm a 68-year-old musician been playing the drums since I have been 8 years old. Have been and still are touring for the last 45 years and have not heard anything like them. Aaron you are a beast my friend.
You will find Jonah's most sick unbelievable vocal ribs on next to you. It's on my daily play list
Please react to “ breakdown “ by Dirty Loops! If you close your eyes, you’ll swear it’s Michael Jackson! Great song
Dirty Loops are insanely good! Their version of Thriller with Corey Wong's band is not to be believed.
Who is this group, you ask? Three Swedish musicians who met in highschool in Stockholm and started playing together, went on to study music at the Royal Acadamy of Music in Stockhom, two in the Rock department and Jonah, the singer and keyboardist in the classical piano department. Years later they started putting out cover versions of different songs on their youtube channel and they were discovered by Quincy Jones who signed them, sent them off to Asia on tour with David Foster. Q has been producing them since. Voilá! Thanks for a great reaction!
Great reaction! Can you please do "Next to you" by dirty loops? You're going to love it!
"They turnin' mushrooms into fried chicken" I lost it
Same here, laughed so hard!!
Nick, Dirty Loops just rocked you!!! I get a lot of Michael Jackson vibes. I love the funky, jazz, pop sound.
I know you trippin by not doing NEXT TO YOU; FOLLOW THE LIGHT; THRILLER and BREAKDOWN.
So much depigmentation that Mchael reincarnated as a white boy 😂
Welcome to my world dude 😂❤
This is what you get when everyone is the best player in the band. You should check out the stuff they did with Cory Wong. You'll love it! They're managed by Quincy Jones and the lead singer Jonah Nilsson sounds just like Michael. I'd recommend their cover of Thriller which they did in a shuffle like The Way You Make Me Feel as a double nod to the great MJ. Peace... ✌
Yesss
"Everybody in this band eat fried chicken..."
"Nobody's vegan in this group!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I haven't cried from laughing this much in years. YEARS!!
I loved your reaction video, my dude! You've got yourself a new subscriber!!
Also, take a trip down the Dirty Loops rabbit hole! I highly doubt you'll be disappointed! My personal favorites of theirs are:
•Next to you
•Work Shit Out
•Follow the Light (with CoryWong)
Haha, same here, had me in stitches, neighbor's probably wondering what I'm laughing so hard at 🤣
Dirty Loops music is good enough for non-musicians to enjoy, but make no mistake: They're a musician's band. What they're doing on those instruments is nothing short of mastery.
Thats what you get when everyone is the best!!
"I'm calling the cops" 🤣
Dirty Loops 🔥❤🔥🔥 spooL ytriD
Henrik Linder, the bassist, has played in a rock band, but he's (even more) amazing playing jazz.
I'd love to see you react to other of their songs. World on Fire and the Thriller remake are two great ones!
Yeah ya gotta react to dirty loops HIT ME...music..and VOX are karazay...
They are inhuman!! lol This band and lead singer is amazing brah!! Your not the only black dude that gets it! Lol….I literally spent hours breaking down the music theory about their songs and music that my friends were like ok, we get it 😂😂 ….And that drummer and bass player….Jesus F******* CHRIST!! Oh and Jonah on the keys …🤦🏽♂️ insane
Besides your concern about being blocked, you could try to play Dirty Loop in stereo. 😉
Are they using the F* word in the Spotify version that I've heard previous to the video? Greets from Tenerife (Canary Islands)
Jaws to the floor right?
Pccket for days!
subscribed
Jonah is a MJ - Stevie hybrid. The whole band is so damn great!
Coming back to this reaction vid (which I enjoyed so much!)
Don’t know if you’ve heard of rock/punk singer Nina Hagen, but you might want to check her out in this song of hers, about lost love, sort of ;)
She was one of that era’s most astonishing singers and artists, no doubt.
I honestly think you’ll appreciate this 😊🙏
Nina Hagen, Naturträne (Nature Tear, I know, makes no sense 😉 but her singing is phenomenal)
th-cam.com/video/9xi4O4RvlnQ/w-d-xo.html
I was thinking Bruno Mars/Silk Sonic groove🎶🎸
Spoiler Alert, once you read this the song won't be the same. In the chorus I think one of the harmony vocals is singing "I just want to F* you, Let's screw" and the others are singing "rock you, its true'. Now I can't unhear it......and neither can you!
Haha, i saw them live a week ago and they said the working name was, yes, "f**k you", and they had the whole audience giving them the finger during the chorus. Hilarious! And oh, what a show. Love. Them.
Dude half the video is going to be you pausing it for the vocal runs! lol he'll keep doing it the more the you pause it
Nobody is vegan lol
It is a misconception to think that you are more important than the music
Many other channels have no problems .Gotta go can't watch videos like this. I'm sorry I'm going to have to uninscribed. Sorry
Absolutely love Dirty Loops, but I get so annoyed watching their vids. The constant cutting from one scene to the next drives me crazy. People who admire them want to see the skills they obviously have , and would like to see more than a second here and a second there. I knew this was going to be the same before watching it.
I guess the editing isn't to everyone's liking, but the one editing all their videos is the drummer, so this is how they want it. The reason it is this choppy is because they want all the little details in the music showed. And, as the music is so fast paced and full of intricacies, this is what we get. :)
@@lottawiklund8606 yes, I guess so too, the visuals kinda go perfectly with the music. And I happen to love them, and the way they have been shot and edited…. But listening to this, or any of the other ‘videoed’ Dirty Loops tunes with eyes closed, is an interesting experience, too. And joldback, fair point, you aren’t the only one complaining about the fast visuals…it’s indeed a very individual appreciation :)
@@fiddlestix3025 Yeah, I also like it. The way it highlights the more subtle stuff at times is really nice. But I’ve heard a fair few people saying it gives them motion sickness, so it’s definitely not for everyone.
@@lottawiklund8606 ☺️👍
