There are toxic people in every fandom. Unfortunately, this toxicity not only leads to hating on all of the fans, but hating on the entire franchise itself. People don’t realize that we can like or dislike things. I love Steven Universe, but I also know that it’s not perfect and not everyone is gonna like it and that’s okay. I can only wish that the toxic fans could stop making the rest of us look bad.
If you don’t like Steven Universe, then that’s fine. I respect that. However, I like the series. I’m not going to bash you like other fans who are deeply committed to the series religiously.

I love Steven Universe and SU Future with all my heart but I would never get instantly triggered if I heard someone else's opinion on the show or if I knew someone who didn't like or actually full-on hated it (For example, my family doesn't like the show at all yet I'm not going to throw a fit because of it). Honestly Steven Universe Future could have been better The whole series was a big ass cliché, the episode where one character takes over the other characters task, ruins it and ends up the other was right The one episode where there's a new character that's overly lovable but ends up evil and so on Sure there were episodes where it all made sense but certain things didn't add up with SU and overall its like someone watched SU once and tried to make a spin off series of it Allthough I absolutely love SU and SUF We all know it could have been better

I really like Steven Universe, and it makes me sad that many people who also like it can't just accept that it has problems and other people aren't going to like it. That being said, please don't stop because laughing at inane hate comments brings me so much joy ^u^. Also great video!
I like the concept, the story, the character, the designs, the powers, the lore etc, and the animation is fine. What i don't like is the inconsistency of the character models, it's basic 101 in animation to have your characters be as consistent as possible, so bad part on Rebecca for giving the animators freedom. I do not like the overused of tears, it has just annoyed me and made me have no pity for the characters, using tears in the most important scenes is more impactful, so use less tears. They needed to study more on how to do fight scenes, cuz it was not that great, there was no impact, shaking the screen can help. But what really killed the show for me was the bad writing, and SUF was not any better. But, what i do is draw my own AU of SU, by making White Diamond be the villain, having her modify Steven's gem to turn him into the monster, and the crystal gems must save him before he is lost forever, cuz then they will have to shatter him.

Garnet's rocket fists actually exist, they make an appearance in the episode "Watermelon Steven" also Connie not crying was definately an animation error, she's seen in later episodes not being affected by Blue's powers

Coming from the political videos I watch, I am amazed that people are nuts over such trivial matters, but not as surprised that people miss seeing, reading, or hearing what you actually said. And, in a time when riots are going on in the street over a man's death, I find this video at the top of my list for "worrying if your socks match while Rome burns" (No, that's not a real phrase, but I couldn't remember the actual one).
