The 2014 Audi A8 is the most finely crafted sedan on the road today. It comes in two lengths - normal wheelbase, referred to as the A8 (202.2" long), and the A8L (207.4" long).
With four engine options (not including the monsterous S8), the A8 comes with a 3.0T Supercharged gasoline engine, a 4.0T twin-turbo gasoline engine, an enormous 6.3 Liter W12 engine (think two V6s meshed together), and a new 3.0 liter turbocharged clean-diesel.
Features like the legendary quattro all-wheel drive system and the aircraft-grade aluminum Audi Space Frame chassis make the A8 a true cut above the rest. Interior craftsmanship is unparalleled; the 2014 Audi A8 and A8L are intrinsically built for an intuitive driving experience.
Technology abounds in the Wi-Fi Hotspot capable flagship, including Google search functions and Google Earth functions built right in to the navigation system. Everything is customizable, from the air-ride dynamic suspension to the interior lighting colors.
In our test drive and review we take the A8L TDI through some twists making use of the dynamic mode and sport modes. The response from the quattro system, suspension, and tuned engine systems create a driving harmony that results in the simplest of driving joy.

These have to be the best brand of cars out right now...their flawless from what ive read and seen in this video...with so much to offer and they have completely changed the game...if only i had one of these or could test drive it...it would make my day! Lol

Good video. The surround view camera function is fantastic. The A8 has to be the best all-rounder in the flagship luxury sedan class & the 2015 facelift makes it better than the new S-class IMO. This is what a German car should be like.

It looks like I might prefer the A8 over the A6, but the A6 has more options, so we'll see. Meanwhile, do the A6 and A8 come with full leather seats or is the seat material some kind of composite mix of leather and some other material?

I have an Audi A4 now, Nissan Maxima my previous car and besides that it's smaller than NISSAN, it's an awesome ca, it's quiet, handles well and good on gas.

All these modern fancy gadgets are great at first. The novelty soon wears off once the on board computer starts throwing error messages at you because you did something as simple as passing wind. Thus ruining the entire experience and purpose for which it was created in the first place which was to enhance your driving experience. The more features the more potential there is for something to go wrong which more than likey results in a costly visit to the stealership who will turn around and say "sorry, that part isn't covered under your warranty". Nice car though :-)

you can't afford one so why complain? ... people who can don't give a damn ... because they can afford it! simple truth plus these cars are far more reliable than you described, sure if you will be dealing with a 15-20year old one that's dragged to hell and not properly maintained - there will be problems ... people who buy these new or atleast less than 10 years old generally don't go through anything of the sorts...
I have a nine year old A8 4.2TDI with 83,000 miles. Heated, ventilated massage seats, paddle shift, Adaptive cruise control, Bose surround sound, 4 zone air conditioning, self close doors, auto boot lid, adaptive air suspension.... not one fault in 7 years of ownership. I didn't buy it new as I let the first business owner suffer the depreciation. Would I buy another? over any other manufacturer and in a heartbeat.
1 Suggestion: Next time you do a video like this, please do the showing of the inside first before you start the car & take off. My 2nd Suggestion: Place the camera on the dash, facing you or in the same spot hanging from the windshield where most people place their GPS systems. I noticed that you kept turning your head up & back towards the camera every few seconds while driving, taking your vision 100% off of the road. It only takes a split second to get into an accident.
My dad is planning on getting this car but I'm quite sceptical of the "foot kick to open" lock on boot
the audi a8 interior is one of The best looking interior i'v ever seen but it still don't compare to the new s600 class mercedes or the s550 but it comes close
Good job 👍 man I am so happy about everything, but we in Nigeria don't like Audi because we don't understand it especially all the new model I mean from 1998 model up to date , but for me I own 2006 A4 B7 2.0t , FSI is ok with me .and I love Audi.

2:40 - 2:58 - How would it work for taking the large object out of the trunk once you got to your destination? Open the trunk, grab the box in both hands and...? Does the foot sensor work for closing the trunk as well? Or: open the trunk, press the Close trunk button, quickly snatch the box so you don't get hit by the closing trunk lid? Or maybe the lid gets into a wait mode as long as some sensor detects an obstacle in the way of the trunk lid?
What's the different between the new S-Class and A8L.And if you take my opinion S-Class 2014 is better.
The build quality and reliability of the Audi is supposed to be higher.

@officialaudimv My local dealership has a pristine A8L 4.0T with only 32,000 miles for 37k. One owner, no accidents and still under warranty. It seems like an incredible deal for such a premium vehicle. Should I be worried about anything? I'm in love with it.
Some audi have reliability issues. Guess what? After lexus, Audi is the most reliable luxury vehicle in Market.
If your going to buy it, go check it with a mechanic.

We don't get the NEW A8 here in North America until next year as a 2015 model while in Europe its a 2014 model. So our 2014 model year A8 is the current car.

13-17 absolute money time bomb......faulty turbo oil screens which trap coked up oil starving turbos of necessary oil, faulty pcv oil separator and shards of metal in oil as a result. Do not buy unless service records prove replacements of above mentioned components. Doesn’t matter if oil is changed every 500 miles either.....spend extra money and go for an 18 when corrections were made with production. Audi, if you were going to doing this why not put on board turbo timers that prevent boosting until at operating temps and prevent car from being shut down with turbo shafts spinning at 100k rpms......anyone that knows this will not buy these 13-17 4.0t’s.... but most people don’t know and 6 months after going limp on highway they face a 10 grand bill to replace everything and Audi tells you to take a long walk off a short pier. Nice seats though......

Not quite sure. I looked over the South African pricing options and I didn't find anything about silver inlays. It looks like there are options for aluminum trims on the W12 ( Standard Feature for the 6.3 W12 Long Wheel Base over and above the 4.2 TDI quattro® Long Wheel Base). Your best bet might be the brush aluminum package (6,050 R) if you want to get it on another trim level.

Hi Jawaad, the A8's can have five seats with an option to fold down the armrest/climate control and there was a redesign with the front and rear. The most noticeable difference is the LED headlights and taillights which have been swapped for Matrix LEDs. You can read up on the new Matrix LEDs here: goo.gl/bMIPrL

does Audi A8 L 2014 coming with a mini bar
This video glossed over the rear compartment. A better video on the Audi 8L that I saw makes it clear that there is plenty of space for a minibar to be installed behind the armrest. Also, it has reclining rear seats, massage chair features, quad climate control, and much more.

Tanay, not sure if the Q3 will end up in the US. It is currently planned to come, but we just got the announcement that the A3 Sportback will be coming - which may be a small product conflict with the Q3... we'll see!

Levani - good catch! It's so easy to get tongue tied while shooting these videos; turbo- and super-charged are easy to mistake for one another but they are definitely very different! Thanks for the comment :)

Han, at this point no. Audi is devoting more energy into "Car-to-X" systems and fully self-piloting technologies. I believe the goal for the generation of vehicles is to have them drop you off where you need to go and then park themselves in an orderly and efficient manner. Imagine a parking garage that talks to your car and fills itself up in a top-down or bottom-up manner to maximize spaces. Imagine cars that park themselves perfectly within the lines - and since no passengers ever have to get out of them, imagine an end to door dings! This is a good example of "Car-to-X" (where "X" is some part of the infrastructure). Another good example is an Audi talking to a series of traffic lights so as to advise the driver of an ideal speed to catch a "green wave" of lights so that he/she does not have to stop and waste motion and fuel. YouCar has a good video out on the Audi Automatic Parking concept using an A7 - I can't link to it here, but it's easy to search for.

Kevin, do you drive a competitor to the A8? Are there any particular style features of your car that you prefer to it? I've been lucky in the past to meet with some of the people in charge of the A8's production (these guys know every rivet, every screw like the back of their hands!) and constructive criticism is always welcome.
An Audi is like a business suit...does the job but as dull as dishwater :o( Too many plastic controls in that interior and the dash hasn't changed since the 07 model I was recently in :o( lmfao, ford fiestas have a gear lever like that!!! Aha, I thought there were no negative comments, your an Audi dealer!! (nope, I don't think I need to point that out to you lol), of course your not going to pick up on the bad stuff :o(
Gamer - yes, as a dealer we are obviously going to focus on the strong points of our vehicles. More importantly I am just trying to give our prospective buyers a full demonstration of our vehicles so that they can then make their own decisions. I've had too many personal experiences with automotive salespeople that don't know their product (or know, but are too lazy to show it) to last me a lifetime. I will say, though, that I am very, very glad that Audi eliminated the "soft-touch" coating that used to cover all of the tactile surfaces of their interiors (like window-buttons and radio buttons). It was notorious for peeling! And of course, I agree with you - a business suit can be dull... that's why there's the S8 ;)

u can see how far the company has come. playing second grade to bmw and mercedes before, now way ahead in technology quality and performance compared to its german neighbours. audi is the way forward. bmw and mercedes still resting on its past laurels nothing new.

This review is biased as shit! I like the Audi but every car has some downsides to it. If you are gong to make an review state the positives andnegatives about the car.
Stefan, while my personal opinions are a little slanted, I always try to compose our reviews based only on the equipment found in the vehicles. Yes, we are an Audi dealership and yes we want people to buy them - but ultimately people will make their own decisions; we're just trying to make the information a little more accessible.
You said exactly what I said, but with the cheery on top. In your "review" you just state positives about the car. In my opinion, that is not a review, it is a sales talk. If you were to call your video an overview then it should be okay to be biased. If you are doing a review, you should be objective.
