Connecting Government, Universities & Proprietary Data Owners to Improve Evidence: Using the Data

Using the Data was the second session in this set of consecutive panel discussions focused on how states, federal agencies, universities, and other
proprietary data owners can collaborate to improve evidence and evidence-based policy. This session focused on using the
data and how current government agencies and other organizations are working together to leverage their data
for the public good. This panel discussed interesting data use cases across sectors and how to make the
information actionable for its intended audience. Speakers will talk about how the data were used to make
decisions and reveal best practices and challenges along the journey.
