Thank you for this video. I’m looking at doing the same thing and found your video to be clear and concise re: the actual mounting of the tow bar/plate.
I would advise to remove the car portion, unless you need to tow often. I have only towed mine once 11 years ago when I towed it to a vw mechanic BEFORE I became one myself. I did not sell it, but have loaned it to friends in our club. You never know when you might need it again. I also have the regular bug tow bar.
