Autumn Kings drum audition - Livin' La Vida Loca

Hello!
My name is Michael Lee, I'm a 19 year old multi instrumentalist from Windsor, Ontario. I've been playing drums for 5 years, guitar for 4 years, and Bass for 3 years. Ever since grade 9 most of my free time have gravitated towards music, wether buying Vinyls, CDs, learning songs by ear or writing originals. I grew up listening to classic rock, but gravitated towards extreme metal and progressive rock almost as soon as I started learning how to play, but I listen to everything and can adapt to any style that is needed.
This is my cover of Livin' La Vida Loca by Autumn Kings. I wanted to do the closest note to note cover of this song that I could but there were an insane amount of fills, so I wrote them on a piece of paper and placed it on my floor tom. There were mistakes here and there but I'm happy with how it turned out overall.
This cover was recorded with a basic microphone positioned between the crashes ~5 feet away from the bass drum at the height of the snare. This leaves the bass drum quiet in the recording, but an overall decent sound on a budget.
