The way Keo talks in this video is just so inspirational honestly, I always fail my resolutions when I write them down, but even I am currently trying to keep things consistent and keeping myself focused on just the certain things I can do, and slowly I'm doing that. Haha, I can get behind that. I've lived on my own for two years and the freedom is priceless. Before that I lived at home with my parents, then, in college, I lived with a roommate (not just in an apartment, but in the same room if that wasn't clear). And now? I can do whatever I want. I can go to bed at 2am (yes, I cry a little in the morning when I have to get up at 7am, but that's another story). I can cook at 3am. If I make a mess, it's MY mess, not my roommate's. If I'm feeling lazy, I can roll around on my bed and not feel guilty for not getting anything done while my roommate is being so productive. And other things.
But yes, I miss my mom's cooking, too. I really don't like to cook, but I have to because I don't have enough money to order food or go to restaurants everyday. And I also have to deal with the bills myself (internal crying).
But this freedom also has one big difficulty (maybe danger? I'm not sure how to say it in English).
And I'm a bit afraid that I'll adapt to living alone so much that I won't be able to live with someone else (like a boyfriend) in the future.
definitely not for everyone but it was a wonderful experience on my end and I will know what to expect if I ever live alone long term!

Love your cinematic eye- the scene where you're sitting in the back of your car with the tail lights was very well done. The theme of this video reminds me of something I heard Keanu Reeves say once... Most people can't handle being alone because they don't like themselves. So I feel like living alone can be very healthy. Knowing and loving yourself helps to build better relationships with other humans. 2023, from my perspective, was a great year. Can never say this enough but another banger of a video, loved the zoomed in shots at the beginning of the video, they really had a nice vibe that fit well. I was so confused at the beginning of the video where you said something along the lines of 'its that time again to talk about this year' and then came the part where you talked about 2023 and it all made sense, very on time as always hahahah

waaaa it's so freeing because of the fact that I am not the only one who talked to himself out loud at home with other family members and thinking that i might probably appear really weird and that i should stop this (but no, i can't, talking to myself is the only best therapy i have to justify my life)
and as for someone who is seriously tired of thinking how should i explain what i am doing, and for someone who literally need bathroom almost every ten minutes because of being so unreasonably obsess with water, and for someone who has been longing to live alone and walk outside of his apartment in the middle of dawn and yes, for someone who haven't finish university yet, this is like a testament that my vision of my future and my view of myself is not entirely doomed.
