I dislike the video because of the capitalistic nature, UBS making a slogan about themselves that is itself unfitting of the work done by Stephen here. Yes it is detailed but it’s also not detailed in many ways, as can be seen by the dotted shading approach. Stephen is capable of far more advanced shading and color detail when he doesn’t have a whole city to draw in 3 days. And having read much about Stephen, the audio here portrays him to be more verbally and emotionally capable than he actually is, he is actually severely limited in those areas. They should embrace these aspects of Stephen instead of hiding it as they do by editing tiny snippets and limiting his comments. Financial motivation is responsible for the shallow approach in this video rather than a deep and true peak into the genius himself
I happen to have autism aswell, I seem to remember long term memory quite well, when I was little I used to draw things I saw from the past, maybe from 2 weeks before I started drawing, it amazes me on how this man can do a whole city from memory since I can't, but I am learning something from him, I've learned to draw with expression, I was diagnosed with autism in 2015 and I've come to realize the beniffets of autism, and the down sides, when I pick up a pencil and draw I can't seem to draw faces but objects, I want to get better at this and there's always a bright side, thank you for reading.
Goldstein autism is like magic that unleashes someone’s great talent not just being anti social like many said, and some may eve say they may never be talented,I hope they get proved wrong
Yeah Brilliant some nice logic there for everyone, honestly fair play to the guy but really? Why are people praising something that is merely common sense?
I just watched the documentary on him . It's on youtube it's like Stephen wishire documentary. He does London panarama there too. 20 mins in chopper no notes or no sketch pad. Goes back and in 5 days draws 7 miles of London perfectly. Judged by architects, engineers, and photographers of London and there all minds are blown. Bro NYC is my fave city as well cuz of the buildings and the skyline. Not really the people lol. But people did build these things. But bro this is so amazing I can cry.
I just watched a BBC doc on him, now I am obsessed and looking for anything I can find on him. He made me cry and he made me feel good about humanity again.
omg. I literally remember watching this on TV when i was a kid. it's funny how many years later in college i encountered this video again on a psychology course.. it's quite rare that i can remember something I saw randomly many years back then...
He should be proud he has shown the world how to see past a label, to see just the beauty of a moment, of a man creating art from his soul! Thanks for sharing!
Most of us are not savants, though. It’s great you want to work with autistic kids but most of them have tough issues without the special talents so I hope you can deal with that.
Unless you are talking about low functioning autistic kids, then they are not smart in that context. But yes we are very different, yet have an odd connection with each other.
WOW! Such an amazing talent. I love your drawings... I love the way she refers to his art as fine embroidery. Never stop drawing, you are bringing real art and the meaning back to life...
Racists don't like information that doesn't sit well with their very precise version of "reality". TH-cam "likes" and comments to videos about non-whites prove this. I've spent 6 years observing this. Make it a conscious goal to keep track of comments, demographics, the spirit of the comments and verbiage used, then compare how this varies depending on skin colour, geographic location or ethnicity of the subjects discussed in the video. Over time one sees a definite and consistent behavioral streak in one demographic. Albert Einstein spoke about Racism and demographics....
I give God the credit for giving Stephen this amazing gift that I will never comprehend. God shows His works every day and and uses beautiful Stephen in a Great way.
Peace/Ase', This brother is amazingly talented! I believe if he wasn't a Black man he wud hv gotten more attention from the dominant society. He wid be getting calls from high profile billionaires;to do private work for them. I'm convinced that EVERYTHING is about color, sadly EVERYTHING! But,we are blessed & thankful to have him as part of the Black community.
The people that disliked only did that because their jealous of his skills
How can you not be mesmerised by this ? A gift from god . He says he’s proud of his work . 👏. I would be too with a gift from god 😂😂😂😂😂
@Turururu You're very pathetic
It was fun

Stephen*.
@@bakedbeans5494lmao they spelled his name wrong on his birth certificate, that name is pronounced ste-faan
@@shroomrose No.
dislikes are meaningless now
He's using notes this time, watch the one where he draws Rome without notes after a 45 helicopter ride.

hi mister
Do the best you can and never stop. Brilliant
Yeah Brilliant some nice logic there for everyone, honestly fair play to the guy but really? Why are people praising something that is merely common sense?
"Do your best and never stop" Is common sense... Unless you fucking struggle because you're a little spastic? Not my problem..
What an amazingly talented young man. A pleasure to watch him.
"Do the best you can, and never stop."
Words of wisdom.

I can't believe there are dislikes about this video...
+ZenJuhano People are racist, and/or people don't believe this guy.
Racist maybe? Maybe not. Just saying as it the dislikes make no sense.
no nothing to do with racism its probably more to do with it being a corperate bank
I would think its people who don't like UBS.

Holy shit, just one flight around new york and he can regardless remember every single detail of it..
he has a brain disorder of remembering things that can last really really long.
@@malfianas its not a disorder it's a ability.
My respect to this talented guy. He's a prodigy. And we are all proud of you, you're the pride of NYC
He would make an amazing assistant for a manga artist. His background's are genius.
Your my hero, I wish I could draw half as good as this... I love you!
Obviously he’s got the artistic skills, but also the patience to do this. Really, really impressive.
I can't fathom talent like that; Makes you envious and impressed at the same time....
God put literally one of the best artists in the world on this Earth.
No, it was his mother that put him on this earth.
***** Their ancestors.
It was god that created his soul, and god placed his soul in his body.
Roger S Okay. Do you have any proof of this?
***** Nobody made anybody. Their bodies were formed in their mother's womb.
A man with an extraordinary talent with an innocent mind with no malicious thoughts
I give God the credit for giving Stephen this amazing gift that I will never comprehend. God shows His works every day and and uses beautiful Stephen in a Great way.
So he doesn't appear to need air or water to survive. Simply his art sustains him. Truly miraculous.
