So few things are as electric as that childhood memory of beating Sephiroth for the first time in KH1 (not final mix, the OG). I was still fairly young, and I spent a weekend straight just bashing my head into that fight. I shouted my voice hoarse when I finally won

That part of the song is normally my favorite and hearing all the different choirs going "Veni, veni, venias" was really amazing!

Over the years, all versions of one winged angel has managed to strike so much fear in the hearts of those of us who were young, yet now in my 30’s this gives me such a nostalgic feeling it’s crazy how beautiful each piece is and how it’s composed. ❤

There is one missing and that is the Kingdom Hearts Final Mix version (not the game in 1.5 but Final Mix for PS2) if you can’t find the song try getting the melody of memory song as it reuses the Final Mix version
I think it is in this version! The icon is top left, and I know it’s just the N.A. non final mix icon, but we got the Sephiroth fight in N.A. before the Japanese did for some reason. So the same song was used in N.A and Final Mix. Final mix gave them all the new stuff we got plus a bunch of extra scenes and heartless/recolored heartless and 2 new keyblades.
(I remember buying a ps2 hack disc back in the day to play the Japanese only Final Mix lol it was a phenomenal feeling being the only one of my friend group with all the extra stuff 😅)
