Jason Becker Noodling

  • Previously unreleased, Jason Becker noodling for Rob and Tony. "'Noodling For Rob & Tony' happened during a guitar lesson for my friends and students, Rob and Tony. It had to be edited because they asked me to play many other people's tunes. I thought this would be fun for guitarists who often noodle around themselves."

I can assure you 100% this IS Jason himself, the song taken directly from his new album (it's a bonus feature you get for putting the CD ROM into a computer). Plus, any fan of Jason Becker should just be able to tell...

2:12 to 2:15 that's a scary riff. Like Greg Howe on steroids. hahahah Jason just kept pushing his speed limits. He had the finger length to do whatever he wanted and he just kept practicing and learning. But godz.... that tone. hahaha As if he's plugged into a PA with a distortion pedal in front.

From 9:43 till the end of this video. OMG. Unbelievable. Wicked sounding sweeping arpageos. The whole 10 min was unreal. He was inspiring to me when I started playing in the 7th grade in 87. Now he's even more inspiring to me as I'm allot older. I don't think there's another human being that is inspiring as you Jason Becker.

    • @Rezparviz

That’s assumption . Not true at all because Yngwie at his age has hit is peak and in his 50 now he doesn’t have more Technique. Micheal Jordon peaked in his 20s as well . Time does not always equal more .

God wasn't the one who was jealous or mad... more likely the enemy of God was, if you believe in such things. I don't view Jason's illness as a punishment or curse, but rather a consequence of being born into this imperfect world. But when I hear this, or when I see Jason even simply continuing to communicate, I praise God for who Jason is.

iv talked to "Rob" I cant tell u his full name but he was the one who recorded this! He used a JVC boombox and he said Jason used his Blue carvin and a purple one. He used a CRATE pratice amp only 15 watts and his tone he used a Digitec 128 plus.He also said that Jason played things like Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, wizard of oz stuff, he imitated Motley Crues Dr Feel good.....and those amazing whammy tricks plus a lot more!
