Wow, back to back hammer time on the update hanger rips. That Morris 1/1 Platinum is off the hook. No doubt this was a gold standard rip. You're in the zone!
What's weird to me is technically Votto will retire a career Red, similar to that of King Felix with Seattle, yet they have images and/or cards on other teams. So is that really playing your whole career with one team? Interesting debate. In any event, enjoyed the video, and congrats of that Morris! I only have a handful of 1/1's after 5 years collecting again.
I found 14 teen yesterday in the wild pulled some really good stuff. The only place putting them out still is barns and noble. All the targets and Walmarts are sold out.
They really need to do something with the 1/1's to make them stand out. They are blander than most of the unnumbered parallels. Joey Votto Blue Jays cards will be an interesting anomaly in the hobby, especially since he never made the roster.
So even if it's a prominent rookie does everybody not care about the stars of MLB cards? That's what I'm gathering from all these videos from everyone. But for real even if it was a Paul skenes you wouldn't want to at least see if you had it?
@@TH-camIsATerribleMedium I think everyone likes the Chrome versions and I see other guys sleeve the base Skenes version, so somebody must like them. I must have40 complete sets of them so I’m tired of looking at them. Thanks for watching!
@@cardyard608 I was just genuinely curious, because if no one else is going to value them then I'm not going to value them. I started de-sleeving a lot of them but I made the choice to keep the rookies in. I can't imagine anyone and everyone wouldn't want a Skenes or Holliday Stars of MLB Rookie Cards if/when they make the Hall of Fame. And I came to the same conclusion about the Chrome versions. I figure those and the rookie cards would sell if anything. But then I started thinking about MVP years too...
The morris 1/1 is awesome. Morris was a hell of a pitcher back in the day.
@@dannyhousley6551 World Series game 7 sealed his HOF career. Thanks for watching!
