@@Cartsp70 , 5010 is NOT even on my radar anymore. I am NOT a big fan of the old style VPP design by Santa Cruz; and also I prefer 29ers for General Trail Duties.. I have a BronsonV3 and a Ripmo, and I actually prefer both the Ripley and Ripmo over the B3 for general trail duties; but I do prefer the BronsonV3 over the Ibis's at the Bike Park, and through flowy, tight, and/or the flat sections. I do agree that the BronsonV3 does suck at climbing if set up wrong. With the Rock Shox Super Deluxe it pedaled horrible and it sat too low when I set the Sag at 33%, but it was a monster on the DH at 33% For general trail duties, I set the Sag on the B3 at 25% and the B3 peddled great this way (with RS Super Delux), but you get bounced around a little more when B3 sag was set to 25%. I have an X2 on my BronsonV3 now, and it seems to ride very plush when X2 sag is set at 25%, and X2 rides higher too, which is also a plus. I am still dialing in my X2 though, and I am sure it will get even better once I learn the shock. I have no complaints with the Super Deluxe, except that it seemed very finicky with sag settings; and it bottomed out easily on the bigger hits when sag was set to 33%.

I tried out the Mega before this already, and for me, it is too much bike to be pedaling all day. It is doable, but it would never be on my list of "1 quiver bike" like the BronsonV3 and the Ripmo are. I know the Mega can handle the Big Hits, the Chunky stuff, and the whoops all great, but I want to see how it does through the flowy stuff like the Trestle Runs called Rainmaker and 36th Chamber (both are on TH-cam). If I find the Mega to be good though the flats or flowy stuff (like Rainmaker and 36th Chamber),, then I might consider getting rid of either my Ripmo or B3 to get the Mega. However, I can't see getting rid of either the B3 or Ripmo. The Ripmo is the best trail bike of all time and Ibis DW-link bikes are the best peddlers. The B3 is just a fun 27.5" bike, and it comes close to the Ripmo as a trail bike; I want to keep at least one 27.5 "trail" bike in my stable. Another reason why the Mega will do me no good is because I have a Scott Gambler for the real chunky DH stuff. I am pretty sure the Mega has no place in my stable, but we will get 100% confirmation of that by the end of the day this Saturday. [To be continued].

Figured that was due to competition from other brands (esp. on price) and the fact that the Nomad and more recently Megatower are grabbing the attention. I'll definitely test ride the Bronson 3 and see how it feels.

I had a cat named Bronson and in his hay day was extremely nimbly bimbly a great jumper as well as climber. The only thing I see that comes close is Dan shredding on his bike. That being said Fanatik has to get Dan on that bike for a few weeks and then give it the Dan review then you've got something...
Love my V3 Bronson and i have been curious on the use of the megneg air can on it myself 🤔 i put a 170 fox 36 on it which is a bit overkill, but is good with those unpredictable moments 🤣 and P321 hubs FTW! 🤘👍💪 Yay team Bronson! LoL 😁
@@aleks2194 i have been enjoying it at 170. i have it set to 20% sag and fox default settings for high and low speed compression. idk if its just my fork , but it rides very firm and have never gotten it to use all travel. it steers and handles great and as long as i am feeling good i am keeping up with the littler bikes just fine. i rode some super tight rocky technical stuff the other day and cleared it all. the lil extra BB height doesn't hurt either. Note i have never ridden the Bronson with a 160 or 150 so idk how it compares in nimbleness as i did intend to DH the bike occasionally , but idk if that will happen this year. The only issue i may have with it is super steep climbs, like trying to go up rock roll features the front end sits a bit high and have a hard time getting front weighted. regular trail climbing i never had and issue, no wondering no bobbing
Do you need that? I’ve had my V3 Bronson for a year and haven’t experienced noticeable chain slap. It will add some negligible weight though and, let’s face it, unless you have one of the top of the line builds, our Bronsons can stand to mix in a salad.

Hi nice video. I demoed the Bronson in Tahoe its an amazing all arounder for the steep climbs and straight downs I ride. Great nibleness but can still plough and climbs very well vs 29er on the steeps that I've demoed. It seems you guys are fans of the new Ripmo AF. Do your guys still prefer the Bronson vs the Ripmo AF?

Can you add more bike frames in your build bike or can you make dream bike builder wich we can see how our dream bike look and if you have hope brakes and hubs on build bike why you dont add hope handlebar stems seatpost headset grips and crank i wish you add it in bike builder so i can build it on the website so i dont have to worry checking stocks in other shops

Drag would be dictated by the wheels, hubs, drivetrain, brakes, etc, not the frame itself. I wonder if maybe the one you rode wasn't set up properly? Best, Dan at Fanatik
Renno Vattio the frame on the Bronson is too big and chunky , feels stiff, the 5010 is Better , more nimble, Even for big drops the 5010 is better m and climbing is 1000 times better
Fanatik Bike Co. , for some reason and I can’t really explain it but , the V3 is kinda like this. You pedal at a normal pace but you don’t get far it just doesn’t cover the ground fast , I had the N4 Nomad and honestly I could leave the V3 behind , even climbing The Bronson just feels like Hard work , it’s not forgiving in the tight turns , if you ride it too aggressive it’ll wipe out , it takes the fun out of the trail it’s feedback is wooden , The Megatower is way way better especially going fast 👍🏽

Every shock fits but the Float X2 air... best shock on the market IMO. Hopefully SCB makes the revision to fit "all" shocks.

It fits medium frames and up. Only push 9/11 doesnt fit due to the piggy back.

Is any additional hardware required to fit the DPX2 shock, or will it work with the same hardware as the Rockshox ?
It's different, since Rock Shox uses a bearing on the lower eyelet. Erik is running a RWC bearing hardware. Fanatik can get those 😉

You should try the MegNeg. It feels way more like a coil. Much better small bump sensitivity even with 2 bands, 188% volume over stock.
