Logistics in shambles, the money for the parachutes pocketed by the oligarchs, I'd say, at least 5 percent of the paratroopers deployed would have been unceremoniously and abruptly stopped by the ground after deploying old, oily rags for parachutes. That is to say that they wouldn't have had half of the transport planes ready for the invasion anyway...
Cold War fearmongering had us convinced a gaggle of half-wits with broken equipment could take over the world. If the Russians in CoD were replaced with their real life counterparts, the game would be action-comedy.

They have one aircraft carrier and it has to be towed around by tugboats, there is no freaking way they get a handful of box trucks and a drunk bear across the ocean without the consent of the US, let alone this D-Day style full on invasion. Или башка или какая - то часть тела высунется и исчезнет. 2) Если противник поймёт что не удержать позицию, то они прячась отступают или сдаются ( в игре все тупо лезут на мясорубку и не видят).3) Когда противник стреляет либо вы его не видите откуда стреляет( в вашу сторону будут лететь пули) либо увидите две руки с автоматом из-за угла. 4) У вас не будет столько прочности и стойкости как в игре. Одна пуля, боль и вы небоеспособны
Comparing real life scenario to a game... if it were that realistic, most everyone would be down pretty fast. This type of game tries to reenact thoughts of patriotic valor and imagery akin to storming Normandy. They're taking a specific battle moment and recreating it over and over.
funny thing is a .50 cal would tare the shit out of the side of a BTR, so would 40mm HEDP which will pen about 76mm of armor.. and sense the BTR isnt .50 cal proof... 40mm GLs would shred it.
