“A small man can cast a very large shadow”- This is the real definition of what Peter Dinklage meant to this show. His impact was immense. Favourite movie character ever.
„Have you nothing to say in your defense?“ „Nothing but this: I did not do it. I did not kill Joffrey, but I wish that I had! Watching your vicious bastard die, gave me more relief, than a thousand lying whores!“ The chills...
"I have a tender spot in my heart for cripples, bastards and broken things" and the smile on young Bran's face is something that really resonates with me.
The scene when Oberyn visits Tyrion in the cell is one of the finest things I've ever seen on television. Pedro Pascal's delivery and Peter Dinklage's reaction hit me on so many levels. The trial speech is unforgettable but the quiet power of that moment in the cell was incredible.
Absolutely! Absolutely! That is such an underrated scene yet it's filled with so so much! Also the way Pedro Pascal speaks so musically is just fantastic! And the way Peter reacts is indeed great acting! It draws you in and just makes you feeel the scene.
I can't think of anyone else perfect to play Tyrion Lannister than Peter Dinklage. Mad respect for this man. Happy Game of Thrones anniversary to you all my fellow World Of Ice And Fire fans 🍷
The casting on the show was spot on. But hands down the best character in GOT has n will always be Tyrion. Even if his character was not prominent, Peter Dinklage made it sure we love it
It's easy to conclude that Tyrion is almost everybody's favorite character and that Peter Dinklage raised this character to an even higher level than portrayed in the books.
"This show would not exist without you." Probably to the only cast member they ever said this...... Shows the respect they had for him ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Peter the GOAT!!!!!
Tyrion is my favourite character in the show. Peter really showed extraordinary performance to build Tyrion's character. Extraordinary. I love the lines he's delivered. It is so well spoken and touching.
The thing about Peter Dinklage is, he`s such a great actor he can play a character & you quickly forget that he`s a dwarf. He`s the real deal & i`m looking forward to seeing more of him & what else he`ll do.
I swear the behind-the-scenes moments of GoT get me more emotional than the actual show itself. Peter Dinklage is such a humble person in real life just like his iconic character. I will never forget this shows impact on me.
I’m so glad Peter was able to show his acting chops and is able to get more roles that do not limit to him to playing a small person. “A small man can cast a large shadow”
Peter's portrayal of Tyrion was splendid. Love the genuine emotion to the announcement of, "With that, folks, it's a Game of Thrones wrap for Mr. Peter Dinklage." Probably when it hit him that he wouldn't be Tyrion anymore. He knew it was coming, but hearing it and knowing that it's official was probably surreal. Amazing actor and highly undervalued, IMO. Loved him in "Cyrano."
Yep exactly! I had seen some it that wasn’t included before too bc they did videos where the actors explained there characters journeys that where the extra stuff comes from. Still love these but I think the original cast remembers are better, they’re edited better to me!

Tyrion Lannister... Where do i even begin? One of the biggest mouths on the entire show yet one of the smallest ones too... The way Peter Dinklage brought him to life is just immense talent he had some of the best one liners without a doubt... why? Because "That's what i do. I drink, and i know things." But we can't forget the Trial Speech a dwarf amongst giants standing up for himself.
Deeply touched by the character Tyrion, and by You Peter. I think you've grown tremendously as an actor since Pixel. You brought a lot to the character that I don't believe anyone else could have. Bravo to you mate, and we fans salute you for the gift this entire cast and crew shared with us. Kudos to the writer for conjuring up this world... very special.
It's at a point where we can only forgive the writers for the last 2 or 3 seasons and instead embrace the epic fantasy they delivered throughout the whole show. The casting and acting was wonderful throughout.
Love from India❤. People across the globe have watched this show. I personally love tyrion. The way he is, i still remember his dialog in the first episode of got , advising jon snow telling him to wear it like a armor(bastard tag) . The stragies he made , true hero for the seasons 2nd and 3rd .Huge respect❤
I love Tyrion so much and was so so glad he made it to the end. I read the books and Peter Dinklage was so so perfect for the part of Tyrion.

I have just started to watch this show recently and have been watching couple of episodes every night. Man, what a show! I am now at season 7 and I feel there will be a gap in my life after I finish it. : ) So many great characters, but I just can't imagine this show without Tyrion Lannister.
How can you not love Peter Dinklage? The only actor on the show (to my knowledge) who had read George RR Martin's books ahead of time/at all. And so incredibly talented. My only gripe throughout was how strange it was how the four main Lannisters (Lena, Peter, Nikolaj, Charles) all had different English accents. But very easy to forgive.
though the last couple seasons had many, many flaws, the show truly transcended television when it was at its best. Peter Dinklage's performance was certainly a catalyst.
I will not give my life for Joffrey's murder. And I know I'll get no justice here, so I will let the Gods decide my fate. I demand a trial by combat! ❤️❤️
Tyrion has a very beautiful story arc in the books but that was lost in the show from season 5 onwards. Writers seemingly completely forgot in season 7 & 8 that Tyrion had a sound political mind and he would not repeat mistakes. That's why I am waiting for the Winds of the Winter so that we can get some justice for the Tyrion. Hats off to Peter Dinklage for living the story beautifully
Tyrion is certainly of sound political mind, but at the end of the day, he's still a pretty conflicted guy with human/relatable desires. He wants to do right by his new benefactor/boss/BFF (Daenerys), but at the same time, he doesn't want to (entirely) burn bridges with his estranged family (e.g. constantly appealing to Daenerys for options that don't lead to Cersei and Jaime's deaths). Put in that context, all of those repeated mistakes/suboptimal decisions we keep seeing Tyrion make start to make a lot more sense.
I always thought the little joke of Tyrion not being in the final ASOIAF was just a cute joke as like one final kick to Tyrion and that of course the most instrumental person in the events isn’t mentioned, but now realizing with Varys’ speech after black water with “the histories will not mention you” he knew how it was and called it then and there.
And it doesn't make any freaking sense, how is the son and slayer of Tywin Lannister, brother of Cersei and Jaime Lannister, Hand of the Queen to Daenerys Targaryen, Hand of the King to Brandon Stark, ex(?) husband of the Queen in the North Sansa Stark not mentioned in the history books? He is one of the most important and famous figures in Westeros, you can't omit him without creating some huge gaps in the history books. This is just DumDum insulting shenanigans.
@@darth3261 ikr..! That's just stupidity. He's the only person who's met almost all of the mainstream characters like jon..dany..ned..catelyn..robb...cersei..jamie..tywin..sansa..bran and almost everyone.
Just finished a 2 week binge on this series. Tyrion is what made the show for me. If they would have killed him off then I probably would have not gone on farther.
Peter, you are a brilliant actor. You made GOT a success by playing Tyrian. The complexity of your character and the way you brought him to life is simply amazing to watch.
