TYLER HERRO's Final High School Game Lived Up to the HYPE! Full Highlights!

- Tyler Herro is a rookie for the Miami Heat. Way back in 2018, Herro was Wisconsin's high school player of the year. He'd already committed to play college basketball at Kentucky. His games had become can't miss events in the Milwaukee area.
Whitnall was marching through the playoffs.
This sold-out Division 2 sectional semifinal at New Berlin West featured a battle of Division 1 recruits. It would be Tyler Herro's final high school game. Check out this throwback footage from Ballislife!
Whitnall’s Tyler Herro capped his stellar high-school career with 24 points and 16 rebounds facing box and 1 junk defenses all game (and all season).
There was plenty of trash talk but in the end Pewaukee’s 6'9 Grant Basile (29 points and 23 rebounds) put back the game-winner with 17 seconds left and then hauled in one last board on the other end when a driving attempt from Whitnall’s Joey Tilley rimmed out. Pewaukee Pirates won 60-59!
Basile (now at Wright State) cleared 1,000 career points in the game.
Tyler Herro had a successful but short (1 season) career at Kentucky before entering the NBA Draft. The 6'5 guard was picked 13th overall and is a rookie for the Miami Heat.

This is the worst offense ever. No one's cutting to the basket or setting screens to get open. Just pass the ball around til it gets to Tyler. At least attempt to be a scoring threat. It's not a one man show. It's 5 on 5.

Grant Basile (#0 on Pewaukee) is a Horizon League champion with Wright State and now attending Virginia Tech. Herro is already a 6th man of the year recipient.
Basile is definitely balling out in college as a senior but went the traditional route. Herro went the one-and-done with coach Cal and is making 32.5 milly a year.
He’s got the most technically sound jumper/ fade away I’ve ever seen!
