I love whenever Alex and Juno both end up doing covers Mario and Luigi covers because they cover both elements of the series. Juno’s lyrics and bowser are always the joking side and Alex’s lyrics and bowser are always the more threatening side.
Juno's Bowser is the one that goes Go Karting and Golfing with them, while Alex's Bowser is the one that tried to conquer the universe.

Juno's came off more as the summarized character development of Luigi from scared brother to true equal in all regards to Mario. Alex's was more oriented to the battle itself.

I just thought of something.
Bowser is _technically_ the final boss of every “Mario & Luigi” game made thus far… but this is the first time he’s _actually, wholly_ the final boss. No dark construct in his image, no outside force quashing or steering his will… this power _relies_ on his mind remaining his own. And he utterly *revels* in that fact.

I need to remind everyone that THE Koopa King himself swatted his backstabbing ally at the last few moments of their conquest because he has suffered betrayal time and time again.
Dream Team may get flak every now and then but moments like this truly made me believe that this was once Alpha Dream's way of finishing this story of two inseparable brothers.
This is our story's end old friends. Let's show them the power of Red and Green.
The thing is Antasma never actually betrayed him. It's questionable whether he ever would have, and he sounded genuinely hurt by Bowser's betrayal.
Your focus is always on the cunning evil dream god who feeds on nightmares and wishes to spread his reach all over the world, and you're just waiting for him to outgrow Bowser, but he never does simply because you're mistaken.
The real evil was the one closest to home. Bowser is the one who can't be trusted because his ego can't stomach a world that isn't his alone. Under the bumbling, goofy hot-headedness, and straight-up bad luck is a genuinely evil guy who only dreams to see a world in chains that exists only to worship him.
If Bowser didn't have the Dream Stone or get turned into Dreamy Bowser, that betrayal would of likely backfired BIG TIME. Based off what we have seen Antasma is better at tactics and magic, Also with the fact that Antasma could pull Bowser into the Dream World and crush him there.
Right.
But did we seriously need yet another Bowser final battle for the fourth game in a row?
We literally fight Bowser in a Giant Battle in two phases, then fight and defeat Antasma literally the next battle, and then Bowser eats the Dream Stone fragments for the final boss.

There are also some lines that come back/are recycled from In the Final. In the journey we've come far comes back followed by now here we are, now you see superstars becoming the power of the superstars. As well as stand tall against the night while our hopes burn bright becomes standing tall against the night our hopes forever burning bright.
Great song: the fast lyrics fitted well to the music, the callbacks to "in the final fight" were also great and the lyrics captures perfectly the grand final climax between the mario bros and bowser of the game
Not to mention the callbacks to the Bowser theme from Galaxy
Whether it be working together or against each other, Mario, Luigi, and Bowser harmonizing to determine the fate of the world will always give me chills.

this is just perfection and feels like a second act to Junos version, I wouldnt consider this a start due to it starting so abruptly and being already so vicious, as if the battle is at its Apex.
The art as well feels like a second phase that sadly never happened.

I've always seen them as relatively equal. Bowser is more physically strong and tough but the bros make up for that with their cleverness and versatility. Even in this case, despite Bowser having the dream stone's power, the bros have their own dream skills to keep the odds even. From there, it just come down to how well they fight, and the bros at this point know Bowser's MO too well. He has to heavily tip the scales in his favor to beat them, but they always find a way to even them again. A cycle that, as both this and Juno's covers of this song have made clear, Bowser is BEYOND sick of at this point.

I like how this version of Bowser is a lot more menacing and angry, tired of being bested by the Bros. Unfortunately, this is not his Inside Story where he gets to be a hero for once (if only because it's HIS job to take over the world)
the deeper voice really helps, Juno's voice just isnt fit for menacing imo. his voice is...soft? and much better for hopeful and positive lyrics~ imo anyway

It really depends.
This kind of Bowser really needs to be more menacing. Like this is a guy who genuinely wants to erase Mario and Luigi so he can dominate the world, and even then he probably won't be satisfied.
Juno's never really been able to pull off the threatening and genuinely malicious megalomaniacal aspect of Bowser in my opinion that makes him an effective villain.
Even with Jack Black Bowser, you can see they've got him really going as deep as he can into a growly aggressive voice that would believably torch a kingdom to get what he wants.
@@andrewt329 me personally Juno can be intimidating but Darby Culprit pulls it off better in the intimidation department, Juno can still do the cartoonish Bowser perfectly, but a serious Bowser is better portrayed by Darby Culprit

Literally like 2 days ago, I replayed Dream Team for the first time in years. This came out at a perfect time!
i remember having dream team when i first got my 3ds, sadly it broke
not sure why, but it sounds that with the slower pace, that mario and luigi are either in a dreamlike state, or are facing off against a very strong boss, and are starting to tire, which is also on theme. way to go!

As much as I love Juno's take of this song, this was incredible. As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I knew I was in for a show. You defenitly contrast with Juno with the fact that you don't stick entirely to the melody while singing and I loved all the callbacks to the previous final battle Mario songs in terms of both lyrics and casting. Honestly, Dream Team does feel like a good book-note for the ending of the M & L franchise. Like think about it. The past three games, while featuring him as a boss in some way, never really ended with him as the final confrontation. As the series was mostly about flipping a lot of Mario games tropes on their head, at least in terms of the stories. So for the fourth and potentially final game in the series at that point, to end on a Mario classic, that being Bowser is the true final battle, is honestly very fitting. Especially since this is probably Bowser at not only his most powerful, but also his most prominent as a major threat to the kingdom this time around. It feels like Bowser is done with being a pawn in another villain's game, and has rightfully taken back his throne as the top dog in town. Reminding all to the power of the Koopa King!

It makes sense….It’s adventures end after all…And even though paper jam was a thing..this truly feels more like the final battle…many people can argue the grand finale feels more appropriate…but this one to me feels more true and appropriate…bowsers finally done being used by others, and is back to his roots and is fully incharge and it makes sense he should be the final boss of the Mario and Luigi series now…He’s learned from his mistakes of trusting fawful, And being used as comic relief, he’s serious again! He even backstabs antasma…showing he no longer is going to fall for tricks even if antasma wanted a genuine partnership cause he’s nobody’s sidekick or partner! This is my favorite version of bowser by far in the Mario and Luigi games, close second is bowser from inside story.. third is paper jam, fourth partners in time, and last Is super star saga bowser!

Just like how Bowser’s Inside Story was a “Bowser” game as much as it was a “Mario Bros” game, Dream Team isn’t a “Mario Bros” game at all. It’s a “Mario and Luigi” game. Luigi spent this game realizing that the “Dreamy Luigi” he saw was something he could be in reality and it resulted in him becoming a partner instead of a sidekick.
Just like how BIS’ epilogue had Bowser forgive his minions when they failed and get a cake for his efforts, Dream Team’s epilogue had him acknowledge his minions efforts and that Luigi as a threat in the same vein as Mario. Both these scenes focused on Bowser and I love them because they embody how the characters grew. Bowser got a cake to show he was a hero in his game as much as the Bros in his Inside Story while in this game he acknowledged that Luigi spelled his defeat.
Okay, I NEED that artwork as a wallpaper, it's so damn good!

I love comparing and contrasting this to In The Final
In Final, Fawful meddled with something he didn't fully understand and was consumed entirely, his personality is gone, replaced by hunger and hate. Bowser is cocky and furious, Mario and Luigi are determined while acknowledging that this might be their most desperate and important battle of all. They aren't fighting a bully who wants to rule the world. They're fighting cancerous evil that wants to infect it.
In this, Bowser's new power is causing him to look at himself and ask if he ever really knew what power really was. And Mario & Luigi are confident because it's still just Bowser with some flashy powers. And they can lick Bowser any day of the week
I love how all three Adventure's End covers I've seen (Me, then Juno, then MOTI) all have distinctly different sounds, like, the tune to which the lyrics are sung are all a little different. Quite cool, really.
Though, obviously, Juno and MOTI are far better than I. XD
Most of the time, when Moti does these covers that juno has done, it feels like the second part of that takes later Olin. It’s pretty neat.
Whenever I listen to these amazing songs, I feel more like playing Mario & Luigi Dream Team, It's awesome

Magical! That was the best Bowser Final Battle song you've done so far!
Also worth noting - the first time Bowser was genuinely and wholly the final boss of a "Mario & Luigi" game. No ghost possessing his body. No dark construct molded with his design and powers. It's _his_ body, _his_ mind, _his_ will... which is all the more important, given what his newfound power involves.
Finally!!! Another encore from Mr. Internet himself and and 2nd new half to create the new mash-up. I swear both him and Juno still make a perfect "Dream" Duo when It comes on their own take on Bowser's Proseptives and never disappoints! Still Is It me for does this version of Bowser sounds like Neo Metal Sonic In his Metal Madness Form or Is It just me?
