    Bought this vacuum thanks to this video. My carpets have never felt so clean after a vacuuming. It's like the cleaners came over.
    The squeegee on the bottom is why larger debris is left behind sometimes. It happens with pet hair a little bit. Requires a couple extra passes, so no biggie.
    This is replacing my Bissell Cleanview.

    Ok as a long time Kirby owner (my Omega is forty six years old and has always been trouble free) I admit that my machine is a bit difficult but heavy does signify a degree of build quality and a heavy vacuum keeps itself on the floor and really deep cleans when combined with a powerful motor

    Our work bought the Windsors, at a cool $1000cad they’re quite expensive and break easily, we’ve spent quite a bit on repairs. Problems with the bag door not latching, filters falling off, cords breaking. They seem great because you can get all the parts, but they suck if they have all the parts readily available because they break so often. I’m considering the Hoover Commercial. It seems like a good option

    I have the 15" version of this for use in my home and I love it! My only real complaint is that the bag is a little bigger than the bag compartment. If you aren't careful stuffing it in there you can mess up the seal and get a dusty bag compartment. Other than that it's a great machine and has no problem with all the hair from my 85lb German Shedder...I mean Shepherd :-D

    • @philsalvatore3902
      @philsalvatore3902 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Modern Rainbows still have to have a pleated HEPA filter to be able to achieve HEPA levels of filtration. Fifty or sixty years ago when canister vacuums had no filtration other than a thin porous paper bag and maybe some 1/16 inch thick open cell foam for "filtration" something like a Rainbow could legitimately claim to offer superior filtration. But with modern pleated HEPA filters and synthetic microfiber dust bags a water filtration vacuum has no advantage any more, and a lot of drawbacks.

    Very impressive. This would be my choice from vacuums what you have tested. I only have one upright aimed for the commercial use and that is Kärcher CV36/2 using the Sebo BS36 design. I quite like it, but it's very heavy.

      heavy to lift or to push? ive got a kirby g4 and kenmore progressive and i dont find either to be heavy in any way.

    • @VacuumWars
      @VacuumWars  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I dont know what it is about commercial vacuums and being super heavy. Especially since its supposed to be for people who basically vacuum all day!

    • @vacuumtests9225
      @vacuumtests9225 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@VacuumWars Yeah it's quite weird how vacuums what are meant to be used continuously are very heavy. My Kärcher is not too heavy to push and pull, but because it's large + heavy it needs to be lifted manually quite many times. Well unless you have huge rooms without any obstacles.

    • @sprockkets
      @sprockkets 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most vacs are heavy, but the Oreck was made for the ladies. Not saying that to be derogatory, but that's what the founder made them for. And yes, it would make sense but they are quite bare bones to be that light, and don't have hoses which I need from time to time :(

    • @philsalvatore3902
      @philsalvatore3902 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@VacuumWars An Oreck or traditional soft bagged Sanitaire style machines are light, but to achieve lightness you trade away filtration, spotting hose and accept a loud vacuum. If you want HEPA filtration you almost have to have a clean air machine which in turn drives a hard plastic bag chamber that is sealed. pre motor and exhaust filtration. This is hard to do and still have a machine as light as a soft bagged dirty fan machine.
