    Hi Nicholas. Hey, let get to the point: You're the Bomb!!! I can't thank you enough for these videos you have on here now. I love them. I was in my last year of school and lost it when it came to the herbs. It is simply confusing to me, but at the same time -fascinating! I do want your courses but first want to review all the herb classes you have on here first. Thank you again. Oh, I apologize for not responding back, but will soon. Take care and God Bless : )

    Nicholas, I find it crazy that I just stumbled across your video. You treated me for a deep rooted cold back in 2014, and your herbs were so potent! I was living in a bus at the time, parked in El Cajon, and I traveled 2 hrs via the railway and bus to your office. So glad I did! You helped me get through a really tight time.
    Today, I went in to my acupuncturist here in ATX, for chronic issues as well as a feeling of infection coming up. He gave me an a cute formula to take first, and it tastes so similar hat you brewed for me. Which naturally made me think of that time. And now here you are!
    Thanks for your work

      Hi Jinte. I tend to jump around, but I've been trying to start back from the beginning, but I'll get there eventually.

    These are new to me as a lay woman. How and where can I get these in a formula to help me. What herbs can I use that are easily accessible. I live in Jordan, am 47 and I have spleen chi deficiency as per a questionnaire I answered.

    I am 64 and a few years back I suddenly lost music mass either due to excess blood sugar or excess cortisol and it’s extremely difficult to build back the muscles. Any herbs I could use to help the process?

    Hi Nicholas, I'm an Acupuncturist with no basic knowledge in Chinese herbs until I started watching your videos. In India where I live, we don't have any access to learn Chinese herbs from any college or university.
    So, all I'm wanna know is, whether signing up the course will be helpful to me or not?
    And big thanks to all your great efforts.

      Hi Mustafa. The course is meant to be a review for people who have already studied the herbs in school. I'm not sure if it would be very helpful if this is your first time seeing them.

    are there only 7 herbs that tonify blood in all of chinese medicine? or are these the popualr ones?

    • @tcmstudy
      @tcmstudy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      These are the ones that are listed in the category "Blood-Tonifying Herbs" in most materia medica, and are most commonly used in formulas for treating blood deficiency. There are other herbs, but they may belong to other categories. For example, Suan Zao Ren tonifies blood, but it is in the category "Nourish the Heart and Calm the Spirit".

    Hi Nicholas, thanks for your videos! You make the most helpful TCM-studying material I know of. Can you write out the herbs you listed as movers with shu di huang at 2:41?

    • @tcmstudy
      @tcmstudy  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Luke. The common ones to use are Chen Pi, Sha Ren, and Mu Xiang.
      I should have said that there’s a handout for this section on the website, and those herbs are mentioned on the Shu Di Huang slide: www.tcmstudy.net/handouts/H303P_Tonify_Blood.pdf
