With the new strict follow cam, you can make it look camera controlled by hiding the ui and pressing buttons. As in, you can make it completely vanilla, it's just an illusion.
Actually, from testing i have found that left click and right click in my game has button 1 and button 2 functionality... so yes this is in fact the budget turret seat.

Mod reccomendation for PvP mod : make an option / other mod in which 2 or more players or teamsspawn at a certain spot ( like 2 spacecrafts or get to use two mechanic staions ) and have to compete for a certain task like destroying a team or players treasury in the huge survival world ... : the spudguns are a bit more accesible , and if possible add more types of gun with different abilities : a blocks destructible with metals need to take more number of hits and glass cardboard take one ...... : the players will build large bases and try to destruct other peoples bases < some rules needed which players need to follow honestly 😅> Hope you like it quite difficult concept but i think this is a great mod idea and great long video sequence >
@@Dr-Pixel Are you saying your cpu has 6 cores with up to 12 threads/vcores (2 per core). I am not sure how those specs work exactly.. but i do know that in python i can start a bunch of threads lets say 100, but unless you do multiprocessing, python only has access to 1 core, so all 100 would run on 1 core (and be incredibly slow because probably 98 of those are constantly starved for cpu cycles). pretty interesting to know how scrap mechanic does this. currently haven't found a way to check this on windows. Edit: python is a special case and seems that in windows threads normally do NOT run on a specific core unless you put a lot of extra efford in it. so i am guessing 99% sure ScrapMechanic is multi core and you were right
To make a fully automated contraption factory, you'd need some sort of advanced controller that you can copy a script into to add connections and adjust settings.

fun fact! i work at home depot so i see forklifts all the time. real life forklifts tilt like the one in the video! i believe its to prevent the payload from sliding forwards off the forks during movement
a space mod would be the coolest ever, like imagine, a normal survival playtrough, but in the endgame, you can buikld space rockets and visit like the moon, and there are more special recources ther and shit maybe expand the solar system to like more planets and shit. building custom spaceships/spacestations and so, damn would that be cool
i dont think its possible within the current game, as you can only have one world in a save game, but you could make it so the skybox changes and gravity becomes zero after a certain height (infact it has been done before, but its old and broken) and have rocks or something valuable up there

Oh, the turret is most likely just a free-floating bearing with a suspension glitch to turn, isn't it?

12 threads could be on a single core btw, would have to actually check the load per core or maybe run it on linux with some tools
