If that's Christmas in the beginning of November... or Christmas in July... let it be! If that is what "makes you sparkle" right now, then go for it and we will sparkle right along with you! Besides, seeing these kits worked up **before** Christmas helps us decide if we wanna do that one too... before Christmas!

At least two “winter” events started November 1 so I don’t think that you are the only one ready to get on with Christmas. I am still trying to finish Halloween Bedroom, but I’m afraid that if I put it away I will never finish it! You have a lot going on…it’s important to find joy where you can. Your viewers will appreciate this and…you can’t be all things to all people. I love how you are enjoying this season of your boys. My kids are 19, 15, 10, and 8. 16 was not my favorite age…but all the rest of the ages have had a lot of joy. ❄️🎄

I dont mind the Christmas theme at all. Its not too early in my opinion. I love Thanksgiving but having SAD makes fall very hard for me. So, Im going to try to enjoy it thru you as much as I can. Also, I can completely understand your mom's frustration. DD makes me crazy too. The image may be beautiful but I dont enjoy the kit. I have a square one now that I bought months ago that I cant seem to finish. I am really considering trashing it. Cant wait to see what you have for us next!🎄☃ 🎁
Thanks for your WIP & Chat ❤. I will cut open the top of the drill bag and very carefully blow into. Your breath is moist and tends to separate the drills. It works well for me. I hope it will help you and you don’t have to firstbout it on a dryer sheet

🌰 ⛄ I'm totally feeling your mom about Diamond Dotz kits. I just completed my 1st and it turned out to be very pretty but was a complete pain to do. One of my favorite things about watching your channel is when you gleefully interact with our craft (unboxing favorite kits, work on or with things you love, etc.). Yes, it's neat when you try new shops for sure and if we get both then super yay!
I stopped purchasing diamond dotz. The last couple I did the glue was so slick that when I placed down the drills, they would constantly slide out of place and I would constantly have to readjust them and it was just a pain in the behind.
happy Birthday! using a dryer sheet as a funnel/tray when kitting up is a game changer. Stick with Gain brand...they are thick and have these perfect creases in them that make funneling the drills easier.
that is the way I do all of my drills when kitting up. But it is easier for me to pour all of my drills on the dryer sheet and then pour them onto the tray and then into the container. I cut the top of the bag off to pour them onto the dryer sheet. That is just what works good for me.

🌲🎄 I agree with you completely about the Lord of the Rings kits. I want a Rivendell! That was my first thought when I saw them. I liked the Balrog kit, but I’m not sure I could take that color palette for such a large canvas.

🌲 I have no issues with Christmas stuff this early. In fact, I started decorating on the 3rd. I already have my tree up and the stockings on the mantle. No lights or ornaments yet, but they’ll be going up over the next week or so. I like to take my time decorating and also have time to enjoy it. So once Halloween is over, Christmas goes up…and sometimes doesn’t come down until Valentine’s Day. If you’ve ever heard the song “Crazy for Christmas” by Lindsey Stirling, that’s kind of my vibe.
It’s my youngest son’s and my middle sisters favourite holiday ❤ actually my son told me I was diminishing his Christmas spirit with my Halloween spirit 😂 I laughed so hard as I try not to do that with him
I have a spray bottle of static guard and I do a quick spritz into the baggie and have no problems with static (and I live in Southern California too, so climate should be the same).
I've tried rubbing a dryer sheet on the area I cut the drill bag and that has worked most of the time for me. Sometimes I rub inside the cut too if static is bad. And I would love a dp of the Tree of Gondor..sorry I forget the official name...love the videos

Tip for the floppy dryer sheet. You can hold it on a piece of card stock for support when you pick it up to put your drills out.

I've tried rubbing a dryer sheet on the area I cut the drill bag and that has worked most of the time for me. Sometimes I rub inside the cut too if static is bad. And I would love a dp of the Tree of Gondor..sorry I forget the official name...love the videos
