I live in the area these lads operate! They’re thriving! Shocal is massive in the area of Trafford, Manchester! Great lads! Amazing service!
Great to hear 😊
I keep telling myself that I don't have a dragons den addiction, and then I realised I watched this video 27 minutes after it was uploaded...
Yep
So? The doesn't mean you have an addiction. It just means your notifications are working.
This is old
Same, everytime I have dinner. I have their latest episode running 😂
@@Hugomad2🤣🤣
Good save at the end with the 20 postcodes, £2 million line. Fair play lads.
Good business idea if they really push for florist butchers and that sort of thing that isn’t able on the delivoo and such it could be a really great business
"I want to eat your face" 😂😂😂😂😂
I love the fact that Sara is always so kind. Such a beautiful woman. ❤
Why don't they have the name of the company written on their display? I can't even remember it. Wasted opportunity.
Give them a break. They’ve built something really cool and clearly forgot to add it
the name is Shocal
@@VanceRefrigerationits left out on purpose.
@@VanceRefrigeration If they can't even get basic things like that right then they are doomed to fail.
@@BenjaminGoose All entrepreneurs make mistakes. You can’t be an expert in everything. They’ve still managed to do more than some sadact dissing them on TH-cam 🔔 🔚
Their app looks like teletext, or early html design before CSS. Think they need to hire a designer
Lmaoooo I’m crying 😂🤣
lol
😂😂😂😂😂
umm. it looks like neither.
CSS was released ages and ages ago, wow
Did touker run out of office space that came packaged with his offers😅
I think he must have sold some of it off I remember seeing one of the businesses he invested in saying they were looking for a new office
Glad that they got a deal but they should have asked for some office space.
Dragons den bingo
... Bland Touker office space comment

@@maverickmic great contribution.
Spoiler alert lol
I’m still waiting on a great last mile delivery solution to multi unit residential towers. We’re in 2024 and we still have brand new 30 story plus buildings with deliveries stacking up in the lobby or being turned away by “concierge” robots on their phones oblivious to what is happening around them.
G'wan! A tough Market to break into but the story, 2 million in 22 postcodes and the personality and resilience of this duo is captivating! Love how Tuca connected and saw their potential. Im expecting to see bug things in future. Congrats 🎉
These two have a good attitude
2 obvious "grafters"
they'll succeed, with guidance 😎👏👏
Good on you Touka.
Why would you give away so much equity for 80K? I would think those local companies could all pay 5K and get equity in a company they all use themselves.
They want a Dragon clearly to help them.
Like these two dudes. Hope they do well.
I sometimes use this service to have Fish and Chips delivered from my local chippy
The taller lad looks like Bashar al-Assad, a younger spitting image
The weak chin
😂I kind of see it
He's delivering another dose of novichek on behalf of the Russians
absolutely brilliant idea. I think we can all agree we need to help out the locals. Just a shame the platform is so bloated.
You're not helping locals because they have to pay these two guys 18%. That's a lot for what is essentially delivery but businesses feel forced to offer these services to compete with Amazon, Uber Eats etc...
@@MLife1972 if your options are
1) closing down due to online/delivery competition, or
2) paying 40% for delivery services
Then the 18% is definitely worth it🤷🏻♀️
Always love the first comments being extremely vague and clearly very intelligent women. Definitely not some 17 year old scammer from Mumbai
They're bots
I don't understand this comment?
@@Terrylizard So they post the same comment on literally every video wherever it is. It can be something positive or something negative. They're all scripts or bots. Many of the bots post political comments... The biggest one right now are comments in support of Palestine. Read the first comment below.
@@jdjd9935that was the point lol
@@Terrylizard you must be new here?
I went to school with Max never knew he was entrepreneurial
How many years ago was that though?!
Why didn't they shake hands with Touker at the end? It wasnt Covid restrictions anymore. Odd...
Perfect to go with breakfast
I don't know why, but I just love Peter. Maybe he reminds me of my dad. His facial expressions are just priceless.
Same! I also love how he is always honest but respectful
I like these guys .
1:01 Did Deborah just let one go! 😂😂
Dragon want you to scale the next day, keep hitting the postcodes and scales it slowly. It’s a good idea
Dragons were scared of the challenge! These guys have a very good business model and a proven concept
Of what challenge? If it's an amazing business, there's no challenge
@@annaagapova3583 are you Insinuating that a good business has no challenge? Or you didnt follow the episode at all?
@@dekass7965did you miss the bit when they talked about the hundreds of millions needed to get the business going nationally? That’s a LOT of money to risk when these guys have a lot of competition
Their business model is self-contradictory: they're trying to be a national local business, which doesn't make sense. If they want to scale, they're going to have to have large retailers on board, because that's where most of the sales are. But they've deliberately excluded themselves from that market.
Great idea chaps. Shame the high street isn’t local anymore.
It’s majority of the time last dragon that rinses them and all the others are in on it 😂
So happy for them. They are absolute cracking good lads. ❤😂 These guys can turn gold out of shet. I'd invest anything in them ❤.
Delivery food outlets pay Uber and Deliveroo 40%? That cannot possibly be correct.
Restaurant margins are thinner than retail.
There’s some variance dependent on volumes but (McDonalds won’t pay that) but they charge many small retailers that much. My neighbours run a cafe and bakery in the area covered by the app and they pay 40% to one of those.
@@Millennial_Manc Wow. These bloody delivery apps. If only they all agreed to leave the apps together.
I am here in Malaga and many places don't offer delivery and/or are not on delivery apps.
Margins should be much higher on takeaway, though, since you don't need the staff or the premises.
Next to face the dragons, is Syrian ruler Bashar el Assad.
He's an absolute spitting image of him😅
are you Syrias ?
13:30-13:32 Tuka's face, what have I done 😕
it would be nice to be standing there some day
No paribins, palm oil, Deborah should say I exhausted the planet of them, what can you now bring to the table in my furthering my millions
So that's who they named the great city of Washington DC after...
Why would you go to a business pitch dressed like a golfer?
Because it’s the words that come out of your mouth that matter not your dress sense
next week zelenski will be on asking 50 billion dollar for 5 %
That’s the costume of a jolly working lad from up north. This way everyone knows.
Sara is great 👍 and kind
steo pulled out because he only knows tiktoc
embarrassing lack of awareness from the founders
If it’s not sustainable, diverse and net zero carbon footprint I’m out.
A spudgun could be useful in a nuclear war.
How?
@@Fubar-fomo
Who knows lol!!!
I'm too early. The commenter with the facts on how the business is doing or if the investment went through hasn't shown up yet.
Too early to tell - they only went on at the start of last year, and the last tax year has only just ended so figures probably aren’t up on CH yet. I’m gonna guess… haven’t expanded much yet or earned a lot
Bartlett clueless
ShoCal not ShowCall!
Starting a big perfume company need some help
Remember that any ‘business’ which is featured on Dragons Den has already failed/is about to fail. It’s like the Apprentice, it’s not real.
Same with the comments
they need to stop talking over each other
no mention of revenues, profit, etc ...?|
Maybe watch the video? They mentioned it right at the start.
They said what they made laddy
“CTO” in a 2-man team, lol… Buddy you’re just a developer
The hatted one's a cutie.
Better than shark tank. Logical and rational feedback. Shark tank is shouting and mocking
Why has Deborah got a baby turtle on her finger ?
It's slowly eating her. In a couple of years, she'll have no arm.
Touker
Touka so out of touch
;p
steve is just a wasted seat tbh.
THE DRAGONS RUNNING OUT OF MONEY AND NOW THEY DOING A SHOW TO GET BACK ON THEIR FEET
If they're doing fine at a small scale, why do they need millions and to increase the commission?
They never said net profit, I'm guessing they're loss making currently
Why do people not just walk to get what they want?.....or stay at home and cook?...is it just me?
Disability, lack of access, wanting something that you can only get from somewhere else.. lots of reasons
Delivery services exist for quite some time. People do it because they want to spend that time on something better than walking to the store
I cook every day but once a month I'll order a takeaway and have it delivered
I agree with you but my brother lives 50m from a McDonald’s and still gets it delivered to his house so there’s clearly a market for it
And me mate, it’s these apps and stuff that are creating the decline in health and just pure laziness
Wearing a cap is not very appropriate indoors

They just copy each other. Just say im out
I am going to say those 2 words "I'm out" 🤦Deborah can't count
"I'm" is one word. "Out" is the second. Second word means two.
'I'm" is 2 words... "I" and "am".
@@dar1e No, "I'm" is one word. You can tell because we write it without any spaces.
Jesus doesn't change your life you do!
they should add stuff like gameworkshop, card game stores to sell pokemon and magic. ive yet to see that offered anywhere
If they add things like that, it's not a local business app any more. And the large national chains all already do online shopping anyway. (Admittedly, that's mail-order rather than immediate delivery but still.)
Religious nonsense represses.
God in life is a great asset
Yes, but superstitions (gods) in reality are a real self deception.
@@philipoconnor4263 God or a higher entity is not superstition. We can only go on evidence of what we have today and we do not know or can prove what the higher entity is. Evidence for a God or higher entity is based on mathematical probability and rationality. Probability this universe came into existence randomly from virtually nothing just some atoms to bring for cell and then life to complex homosapien DNA level. This universe had a start and purpose so do homosapiens.
