Thank you so much for this video! I've been struggling with my jumbo yarn winder. After only threading one eyelet, winding yarn is a dream! Thank you so much!
Thank you for posting this video. My winder is a little different, but I kept trying to wind the yarn by putting it through both arms instead of just one and getting it tangled. Today, I used the winder the way you instructed and it worked beautifully!!!❤
Thank you! Just bought this exact one from amazon and the instructions were useless. Went through a whole thing of yarn and said, “That isn’t right” knowing that the other arms had some use. Thank you so much! I love that big fluffy yarn too!
I sure wish they had these when I was crocheting! I would have loved it. Can't t crochet anymore because of arthritis, but loved watching your video anyway, so neat. Thanks for sharing!!!
Thanks for showing this model. I just received mine from eBay and the 2 arms and the metal arm and yarn guide were not assembled. I asked the seller for assembly instructions and they sent me a video in Chinese lol. I understood how to attach the guides but my previous small winder didn't have a 2nd arm. I kept trying to use both but finally gave up and found your video. I am very happy with the huge amt of yarn it will accommodate.
Thank you for the great video. I scored big-time, found one of these at a thrift store for $4.95. I have the smaller one too,but had no idea how to use this jumbo winder. Now I do, thanks to you!
I never thought about putting the middle thread all the way to the bottom. That a great idea, so when you do pull it off the middle thread comes out easier.
I have this exact model. My only problem with it is the Bob And seems to hit the swing weaver in the middle of a turn. How do I adjust so it doesn’t do that?
OMG Danielle what a Super Cool and Awesome Demonstration.....I just watched out of curiosity....and because I really love your videos.....so this was fun to watch.......I don't crochet or knit but still thought it was super cool to watch.....YOU ROCK!! Joan Smith
Thank you!! I needed a review on how to use mine. As yes, these are sturdy and with a bit of care last forever. Mine actually belonged to my mother and she used it for 20 years before I "stole" it. (My stepdad brought her a brand new one.) Only thing wrong with it is the plastic end of the handle is broken because my brother dropped it. Mom used gorilla glue and a large wooden bead to replace it.
I just bought it from Amazon. I only paid 11.53. Because I have Prime and points discount of 22.00. I can"t wait to start using it to organize my yarn. Thanks for sharing.
Excuse me Kyle, but what's the main difference between the small and the big winder? just the size of the ball? I want to gift one to my mom but I don't know which.
Hi...thank you for your review. :-) I'm wondering if you're still pleased with this particular brand of yarn winder...? Are you still using the same winder...? I'm wondering how it's held up. Thank you. :-)
I have this one and I love it! I also use it to wind two strands together before actually doing the project. It saves so much time!
I like the thought of winding two strands together. I sent you an instagram DM to learn more.
Don't you think, the second arm is for winding two yarns into one?

How do you get your cakes to be so big? My thicker yarn on this winder will not go to the bottom of the holder and then won’t take the whole skein
Great demonstration Kyle! It's so nice to have all of your yarn in the same exact kind of yarn cakes. So much easier to store.
Jamie Leonard yes it is:)
I love it
Can you use the Jumbo winder with the smaller yarns? Or must we have a small winder as well?

I looked in your description and can't seem to locate the link for the jumbo winder just for polaroid film

Some projects call for two strands, can two strands be winded to form a ball?
Just got mine in yesterday from amazon. The same one.

The difference is how much yarn they can wind the bigger the winder the more yarn
