Thank you for a great podcast; you & your husband did a great job! Hello from the San Francisco Bay Area California USA. A 81 year old knitter who enjoys watching your show & your lovely knitted items.
The shawl your working on is absolutely gorgeous…..love it. It looks like it will keep you very warm during those cold winter days!!! I so enjoyed your podcast, so sweet, simple and to the point. Looking forward to your next podcast. Tell your husband he does a great job with the camera ❤ Kathy from Massachusetts
Hi Kathy, thank you for your comment. It made my husband very happy. Me too. I have 3 shawls on thegonow and I am holding myself not to start another one... I do need to start finishing my projects :)
One more thing. My husband and I visited PEI 2019 and I purchased a pair of those mittens from a roadside hut where this women sat and knitted all day. Mine are grey/black with cream fleece and they are the warmest mittens I have ever owned and I knit mittens but nothing like those. Good luck with finding a pattern which I found once online. Kathy
I’m from England but I visited Anne of Green Gables on PEI in September. It’s a special place and your video brought it all back to me. It was great to see it again. 🇬🇧🧶🍂☀✈
Your shawls are beautiful. Can’t wait to see your finished projects using the gorgeous yarns you purchased. Thank you for the fiber festival tour and that of Green Gables. Hello from NJ.
I loved your podcast. Your shawl yarns are beautiful. The one with shades of blue/aqua will be beautiful. I also like the black, grey and red, or shades of, will be amazing. Can't wait to see them. Anne of Green Gables was fun to see and the yarn fest must have been so much fun!! Hello from Ontario.
Hi Joan, I miss the Ontario festivals because I know a lot of the people that I only meet in these occasions. I was always at the Ontario handspinners, my favorite. I guess I will have to go more times to PEI to get to know more people. I loved it anyway.
Thanks for sharing the festival. You got some lovely yarn. Loved the tour of Anne of Green Gables. We watched the movie. I need to watch again. My daughters name is Anne with an E and her piano teacher insisted that we watch it.
Thank you. My husband appreciates your comment too, he puts all the videos togther😊. It is so nice to know you are watching from Scotland, we are far but close at the same time.
Thank you for the lovely tour of Green Gables house. It’s been many years since we went there and it is a very nice video. You got some beautiful yarns and I hope that special Suri comes out well after dying.
My husband appreciates your comment! He makes the videos. I will be very careful when working with the suri, I think I will use the crock pot on low heat to dye it so that I feel a little bit in control😅.
Thank you, I love the colors too. I have not started my Steven west yet, hopefully this weekend. I like the MKAL because we learn a lot. I will just go slowly on it.
Fatima!! que pena nos não nos encontramos em PEI pois eu e o Bill levamos nosso Airstream e acampamos la. I took 4 classes and learned lots of new to me techniques and bought some lovely yarn but not as much as you! I'll be going next year again but hopefully can have a cafezinho with you in Newfoundland over the summer. I love knitting with kid silk haze and all Lychen and Lace - enjoy -
Que pena Jeanine. Because of dogs and ferry I left for the last moment to register. I wish we had met there. Eu estarei esperando você no verso, vai ser ótimo.
