knocking a bearing from the inner is bad practice because the balls mark the out part of the race

Listen at 5:30 I said I put a 20mm socket on the OUTER race of the bearing. I would never hit the inner race as that would be bad practice like you said. Thanks!

did you grease the bearing before u put it in the freezer and I'm assuming u put it in the freezer to contract it for an easier fit

I didnt grease it myself. I put it in the freezer in its oem sealed bag with the grease they put on it from the factory.

Yeah I put everything that’s a press fit in the freezer to contract it

Please could you tell me how to tell when the water pump is not working?

    • @frankiemarchese2978

One indication is if you see any white in your oil when changing it. Another is coolant leaking out from the weep hole in the case under the water pump itself. Another indication could be the bike overheating

The water caning in the oil ????

do i need to add any more oil than standard oil change from splitting the case? i noticed a bit more coming out of that pipe that connects to the top of the case with the crush washers

    • @frankiemarchese2978

If you dump the oil from doing this job then you dont need to add more than standard because this is just the crankcase cover, not the actual crankcases themselves. So 1.1l of oil would be the right amount if changing filter too. And if you’re leaking from that oil delivery pipe I would replace all those crush washers which I believe there are 6 of them. I use tusk crush washers and they haven’t failed me once

I believe it was yes because the oil was a little white
