I wonder, could they explore and find characters from Don't Starve, to put it into ONI? I'd love a robot duplicant. And being able to use the duplicant printer to instead resummon different creatures, like those darn shine bugs that somehow always die!
Loved the fact that the dupes from the previous shorts all showed up for this one. I particularly like the Dexter's Lab-esque relationship between Banhi and Ari. I can just imagine Banhi shouting the dupe equivalent of "Get out of my Laboratory!".

Actually, all the people who were incinerated were in previous shorts. It just goes to show how involved the Klei animation department is.
they are all crossover episodes this one just is the only one directly tied in with the others but if you pay attention in all of them it is the same dupes every time.

I feel like if they made a show out of this it would be fantastic. You only get little snippets of lore from the game itself (along with these shorts), but a full show could provide a lot of entertainment while also giving us more backstory. With all the comments asking for a full show I'll be a little surprised if it doesn't happen in some form or another, it's got a lot of potential.

Why does klei feel the need to give the hard and challenging games where your progress could be gone in a matter of seconds due to a tiny mistake (don’t starve and oxygen not included) the most well done and wholesome animations. 10/10. 5 stars. possibly the best company in existent
Ah these shorts are just fascinating; I actually bought the game, not really sure if I'd ever get the chance to really get into it, just because I loved the aesthetics of these shorts. I especially love how each short focuses on a single character, really giving off the impression that we're getting to know a well-established cast. It really pays off in this short, with the characters we've met appearing in the background.

I do not know who the scriptwriters, animators, drawers, and the many artists involved in creating these wonderful masterpieces, but, I must say, this is phenomenal and had me laughing. You should make an Oxygen Not Included animated show, it'd be so frickin' cool. Just have it show from like the beginning of the colony and each episode might be another technology researched or something like that, and you get to see the colony's progression from a tiny little hole in the ground to a full-on civilization
