This song has spoke to me many of times while I was in the military. Every time I went overseas I would listen to this and be reminded me how proud I was of where I came from. This song is bad ass and about the America I grew up in. I served 38 months in Iraq and Afghanistan and appreciate the motivation of Montgomery Gentry in honoring our service and the towns we fought hard to get back home to.
I was in the Marine Corps and I do believe the song relates to the different places people come from and how they come together in the military and back each other up. It's the moral understanding all military people have and come from. I really appreciate the fact that bands like this point out we all come from some place and when we come together great things happen. God Bless the USA!!

I grow up every day in a Christian and military town- and I have nothing but respect for my town and the preachers wearing cowboy shirts, the boys fighting in the parking lot, the people in that little white church, and that man whose done wrong and whose goin' to make it right. Every store, and restaurant has a sign in my town, with the acronym EDICCIMAD. It stands for Every day in Camden county is military appreciation day.
